This car had me questioning the 700 production models, so I went digging for some answers. Found this great article containing pictures of a factory Mercedes brochure confirming that only 700 of the Limited Edition Sportline were made in 1993! Not sure if the link will host in the comments, but it’s on a “classic car factory blogspot Mercedes 190E” site you can google. Already a rare car, this one seems truly unique with a manual swap. And if I’m reading correctly, the rear differential was also changed over so that the gear ratios would be correct for the manual transmission.
