This RENNtech airbox was designed for M119-powered W124 applications including the 400E, E420, 500E, E500, and E60 AMG. The airbox is made from carbon fiber and features the RENNtech logo at the top. Two K&N decals have been added to the top of the airbox. RENNtech claims the airboxes deliver increased power output for both horsepower and torque. This example shows some wear, cracking in the carbon fiber, and heat discoloration. The airbox functions as intended and retains all original clips and gaskets. The seller is offering this RENNtech airbox at No Reseve and notes they are willing to help package for shipping. 

RENNtech, when producing this airbox, claimed an additional 10 horsepower and 8 lb/ft of torque from stock. Dual air filters help with airflow and are direct fit replacements with the stock filters. A pair of used K&N filters are included with the box.  

These airboxes were made using OEM airboxes and modifying the insides for airflow and adding the carbon fiber top to the OEM base. The original Mercedes-Benz part number can be seen on the bottom of the airbox. Vehicles approved by RENNtech for fitment include a number of M119 powered W124 examples including the following:
