The car originally came from the factory in white and is now finished in Silver Grey Metallic (180) after undergoing a full professional repaint under previous ownership during restoration. Exterior features include a removable body-color Pagoda hardtop, blue convertible soft top, left-side mirror and chrome-finished bumpers to match the window trim, door handles, and grille. The seller notes minor imperfections including a touch up spot on the passenger corner front bumper, and two paint defects along the edge of the hood. Detailed photos of the exterior are provided in the gallery.
Videos below provide a walk around, interior tour, and ride along of the car.

@Chatntoo Good morning, thanks for your question. The wheel is not perfectly aligned, but it isn't as stark as the driving video might suggest. The road we used for the driving video is a rural country lane which has a fairly tall crown/camber, so some correcting steering angle is needed to compensate for it. On a more level road, the wheel sits halfway between where you're seeing it and perfectly level.

Steering wheel seems offset to the left while going straight down the highway and in a lot of still photos. Perhaps it's just the camera angle?

@evan_davis Thanks for your question. The pinstripe was hand painted on top of the car's clearcoat.
Hello, Is the pin-striping a decal? Paint over top of the clear coat? or is it under the clear and impossible to remove? Thanks, Evan
@Flipper Done! Thanks for catching that!

Good afternoon MB Market viewers and bidders! Thank you for the bids so far on this lovely 250SL. I had known about this car for several years before acquiring it. Its previous long-term owner is an interesting guy who owned a high-end upholstery business, specializing in ambulances, helicopters, and boats. He purchased this 250SL around 2000 as a mostly original survivor in need of some refurbishment after a period of storage. He sent the car out for the body and paint, making the choice to go with silver grey rather than its original white. Once the car came back from paint, he set about on the interior, and it's one of the car's best features. He chose the correct style of carpet and leather so that the interior looks stunning but not too 'new.' He ran into some snags getting the car running after replacing all the fuel and ignition components except for the injector pump. Upon finally purchasing the car, we sent the injector pump out to Black Forest LLC for a complete rebuild and restoration. While not cheap, they were very straightforward to work with and were able to provide the missing link for getting this 250SL back on the road. The European spec manual 250SL is really a sweet spot in the Pagoda's lineage. The 250 is much rarer, had a very similar horsepower output as the later, more valuable 280 - just with a bit less torque. Anyone who's driven an automatic Pagoda can attest to how desirable the manual is, and it's made that much better with the uncorrupted Euro-spec bodywork and headlights.

@Flipper Good spot! I'll reach out. Thank you.
Need to correct "Quick Facts." It's a manual transmission (not 4-speed manual and automatic).
