The car was first sold in California where it has remained since new. The original owner owned it through April 2024 when it was sold to a collector with the help of the selling dealer. The multifunction steering wheel is covered in two-tone leather and frames an AMG-branded 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer, along with gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates approximately 59,830 original miles and shows all functioning pixels in the digital ambient temperature gauge and clock.

The naturally aspirated 5.4-liter M113 V8 produced 349 horsepower and 391 lb-ft. of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The Carfax report lists 8 service history records with the replacement of the crankshaft position sensor in September 2023.
