This 2000 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG is finished in Snow White (143) over two-tone Black and Grey leather (528) upholstery, and power is provided by a 5.4-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The car was first sold in California where it has remained since new. The original owner owned it through April 2024 when it was sold to a collector with the help of the selling dealer. The selling dealer is now offering the car out of this private collection. Equipment includes xenon headlights, a glass sunroof, heated and multi-contour front seats, memory settings, cruise control, automatic climate control, a rear sunshade, and a Bose cassette stereo. The odometer currently reads just under 60k original miles. An oil service was performed less than 1k miles ago and the car is now offered with manufacturer's literature, partial service records, the original tool roll, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in Snow White (143) and comes fitted with an AMG body kit including sculpted front and rear bumpers, side skirts, factory rolled fenders, and twin chrome exhaust outlets. Additional features include xenon headlights, headlight sprayers, power-adjustable mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and a glass sunroof. The glass is tinted blue from the factory. All rubber seals are in excellent condition and there is no signs of rust or corrosion anywhere on the body. The Carfax notes a minor damage report in January 2012 which resulted in a spot repair performed on the left front fender. In 2024, the car received a full body ceramic coating including the wheels and glass. Detailed photos are provided in the gallery.
Factory 18″ AMG Aero II Monoblock wheels are wrapped in 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires and show 2023 date codes. The wheels present well with no major blemishes and factory machined lips.
The cabin features seats upholstered in two-tone Black and Grey AMG Exclusive leather (528) along with matching door panels and head rests. Birdseye maple trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional amenities include heated and multi-contour front seats, memory settings, cruise control, automatic climate control, a power rear-window sunshade, and a Bose cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer. The seller notes the headliner is beginning to sag in the rear and a small crack around the passenger side airbag on the dash. Original E55 AMG floor mats are included.
The multifunction steering wheel is covered in two-tone leather and frames an AMG-branded 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer, along with gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates approximately 59,830 original miles and shows all functioning pixels in the digital ambient temperature gauge and clock.
The naturally aspirated 5.4-liter M113 V8 produced 349 horsepower and 391 lb-ft. of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The Carfax report lists 8 service history records with the replacement of the crankshaft position sensor in September 2023. The seller notes an oil service was performed in September 2024 less than 1k miles ago. Earlier in 2024 the car received a new flex disc, center mount, rear crankshaft seal, and both valve cover gaskets. Other notable services include a new water pump, front brake pads, central locking pump, serpentine belt, idler pulley, tensioner, and brake fluid flush in 2018. Additional underbody photos are viewable in the gallery below.
The Carfax report lists one damage report from January 2012 when the car had approximately 45k miles with no additional information provided. Now with less than 60k miles, this E55 AMG is offered with manufacturer's literature, partial service records, the original tool roll, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.
With limited production numbers, the W210 E55 AMG has become a rare commodity. Enthusiasts today are searching for the perfect car that still maintains a more connected, analog feel while providing speed, style, reliability, and modern day creature comforts. If that isn’t the W210 AMG then we don’t know what is. Many of the surviving examples on the market are well beyond 200k miles and, in some cases, are burdened with corrosion issues. This particular E55 has managed to accrue less than 60k miles, all in California, since rolling off the showroom floor and has been cared for as a proper enthusiast example should. We absolutely love the rare White exterior which perfectly compliments the two-tone interior. The naturally aspirated M113 will forever be hailed as one of AMG's most robust and reliable engines. Back in its day, the E55 was able to compete from a performance standpoint with the likes of the Porsche 911 and Chevrolet Corvette. The only difference was seating for 5, stunningly hansome aesthetics, and a comfy, luxurious cabin fit for long trips or the daily commute. The W210 AMG is no longer a secret; it’s officially a sought after modern classic and a must have for any Mercedes enthusiast.

$15,000 bid placed by @amusicianslife
Welcome all to my E55 auction. I'm a fan of these cars and have owned just 2 over the years due to the neglect and enormous miles that so many suffer from. This car is a unicorn due to its level of preservation and low mileage. I initially bought the car from the woman who bought the car new. I encourage everyone to have a close look at all 234 images. The car can be inspected and driven at my gallery in Burlingame, CA - 5 minutes south of SFO. Feel free to drop me a note with any questions. Looking forward to a great auction!Neve does directly translate to "snow" in Italian....which actually makes me like it even more lol@gsxr It's glacier/neve white Snow white was not my choice but aptly describes the color!Beautiful car! Nice to see some different colors besides Black or Silver. I am curious where the name "Snow White" can be found for paint code 143. The 2000 USA sales brochure shows 143 as "Glacier White", and the European/German name may be "Neve White". Perhaps later model years changed the name of 143 to "Snow White"? GLWS!!Goodness. What a beautiful car! These E55’s look so good in white. I sure wish I could bid on this one. Good luck with the auction.
