In my 20 years being into premerger this has got to be one of the cleanest, OG ones I’ve seen - across any model. It’s clear this car was ordered by someone who knew what was up (full dipped look is awesome) and kept in incredible condition. Amazing

..and an exhaust leak!
@PetarV86 Thank you !
@Hamidkaci87 Most likely due to no cat, IL does not require emissions on vehicle older than 1997 so the po probably removed it.
I follow your YouTube channel Youngtimer. GLWS!
If you changed the o2 sensor and cleared the code and it came back, then it could possibly be a bad o2 sensor again, maybe the wrong one was changed, maybe you have an issue with your exhaust or catalytic converter.
Thanks the pics, videos and written description is great!!
@Seville_1976 your more than welcome to come check it out
Ok, thanks! It may be more than the O2 sensor!
@Seville_1976 o2 sensor light , I replaced the o2 sensor last week with a new one and its still on.
What's the the sensor light that's on?

Thank you for checking out my super unique, rare, and insanely clean 190E AMG . I am happy to answer any questions you may have and will do so to the best of my knowledge. I always encourage buyers to set up a pre purchase inspection which I can help arrange at my local Mercedes Dealership if you have any concerns. I can also show the car prior to auction end.
@bustosgroup it has not been tested so to answer your question no. it could be low on Freon or need a compressor that I do not know. You are more than welcome to have it inspected at the local Mercedes dealership I use.
@BabyBenzFan No paperwork , it is a pre-merger AMG car without paperwork . Mercedes Classic center has no information on these cars this has been tried many times. I have had a lot of pre-merger cars and the documentation was for the most part thrown away for most of these cars when AMG was dissolved prior to the Merger with Mercedes. Early 1985 cars weren't being copied so you can be sure this is an authentic AMG. There are a few people that have records that used to work there that only a hand full of people know about but there is no database available to anyone as of yet. In order to qualify (per AMG NA policy) for the AMG badge one had to purchase 2 exterior "optik" items. In other words - if you bought front and rear spoilers from AMG NA they would allow you to buy and install an AMG badge. So there was many AMG cars but only few AMG 6.0, AMG Hammers etc. Those were AMG performance cars. This topic has been beet to death and there are many discussions on the web. This is definitely not the only Pre-merger AMG 190e but it is one of the cleanest examples I have ever come across . The 190e AMG cars are much more difficult to come by compared to the c126 c124 and others.
Is there any paperwork to document the AMG modifying in addition to the AMG stamping on the AMG body kit? I wonder if the MB Classic Center is provided the car's vin# if they might be able to shed any more light on the AMG authenticity? If this turns out to be a pre-merger AMG car, this would be incredibly rare and way more valuable. Documentation will be key. I know that non other than Ringo Starr had a W201 that was modified by pre-merger AMG. That car now sits in the MB museum. I have a picture of it in my copy of the book, "The Holy Halls".
AC WORKS ?
