This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E500 Limited was ordered via the Bielefeld Branch and built in September 1994. This European-market example was initially exported to Japan where it reportedly remained with the first owner through 2023 until it was imported to the United States. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over two-tone Black/Red Leather (287), power is provided by a 5.0-liter M119 V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes a power sliding sunroof, heated front seats, power mirrors, a power rear sunshade, dual-zone automatic climate control and cruise control. Modifications consist of 18” AMG Aero-style wheels, RSR Springs, a Js Auto catback exhaust, white gauge faces, and an integrated navigation system and stereo from Carrozzeria. Extensive service history includes records kept from 1999 through 2024. The most recent service includes an oil change in April of 2024. This E500 Limited now shows 201,216km (~124k miles) and is offered for sale with the original manufacturer’s literature, two key fobs, a binder of service history, and a clean Montana title.
The E500 was designed and built in collaboration with Porsche, and features widened front and rear fenders with unique bumpers and comes finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744). The seller notes that RSR lowering springs are fitted to the car.
The factory Recaro sport seats are upholstered in a Limited-specific two-tone Black/Red Leather (287) with red patterned leather accenting the seats, door panels and steering wheel. The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts an instrument cluster featuring white dials with a central 260-km/h speedometer along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, analog clock, outside temperature sensor and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer currently shows 201,216km (~124k miles).

@Goran124 Apology for the delay. I had a reputable local body shop inspect the car. Based on their assessment, the car has been resprayed at some point. As you mentioned, factory paint ranges from 4-7 mils, but this car consistently shows 8.8-9.8 mils throughout the entire vehicle. They confirmed that the work done was of high quality (no Mickey Mouse job), as there are very few telltale signs. No run-offs or overspray can be seen on the body panels, trims, or even underneath the car. The bolts and hinges were also reinstalled in their original assembly points. If you're familiar with bodywork, you'll see that there are usually shift points or indentations visible compared to the original factory assembly points. You can see the consistency of the paint in the video I provided. Based on the shop's inspection the car does not show any sign of the accident or body damage. @ronsusser I appreciate the kind words and your offer and again no offense taken brother. If the winning bidder wants to get everything checked out before doing any transaction I’d be happy to accomodate. I’m sure you’re great at what you do however I’d like to keep any request or comms direct between me and the potential buyer unless its necessary to involve a third party. if you’d like to keep the conversation going feel free to use the "Message Seller" feature.

@squadra21 - There would be no expense to you of course and none to anyone else for that matter and certainly not without your consent but let's leave it at that. I'll certainly check with a seller next time before I offer to view a local car on one of these sites. Best of luck with the sale of what appears to be a beautiful car.
@ronsusser I don't think it's restrictive, just my personal preference as this is my car and my listing. If you catch me at one of the local cars and coffee I'd be happy to show you or anyone else to the car. You can interpret that how you feel, I'm simply clarifying that I'm not entertaining your unwarranted service or anyone else's without my consent and not at my expense. I respectfully ask that we get back on topic and not clutter the message board with more back and forth.
@squadra21 - once again, I apologize for making the assumption that you would allow me to simply view the car on behalf of a prospective bidder. I figured that I was local and could help out a prospective bidder but based on your policy, I guess that "ain't" happening. While your pictures are beautiful, some people like to have someone lay eyes on a car. Feels like a very restrictive policy.
@ronsusser No offense taken. To answer your question no, unless you are directly associated with theMBMarket or the winning bidder I'm not including any other party in the process. I'll do my best to answer any questions or provide additional information. If the winning bidder would like to perform a full PPI, or any other inspection I'll be happy to accommodate. For all additional requests I prefer to deal directly with the winning bidder.
@squadra21 - I apologize for making an assumption that a test drive would be an option for a prospective bidder. Would you allow a visual review if someone requests?
@MartinMartin The matching case is so trivial but is such a cool add on to the package :).
@ronsusser Just to clarify, although I appreciate your intention, no one will be test driving this car regardless of who you are and how many years you’ve been a broker unless an agreement has been met between me and the winning bidder. Whatever you communicate and agreed on with any of the bidders (unless its the winning bidder) here is non of my business and I will not bother to entertain.
Good afternoon bidders - I've been brokering cars for 24 years now and am very familiar with the E500. I am not associated with the seller in any way. The point of my post is to let you know that I live only about 20 minutes from where the car is located and I'd be happy to go an inspect the car on your behalf. I'm not a mechanic so I couldn't do a full PPI but I could do a visual and test drive if any is interested. You can reach me at 630 567-066.
The red Limited interior is ridiculously cool and rare. The matching leather case is wild to see too.
@Goran124 Will do but it won’t be until the weekend or early next week.
@squadra21 is it possible to mesaure it? Original should be 70-120μ

@Goran124 Based on my knowledge and what I can see it's original paint. Door jams and trunk jams look clean, I don't see masking tape lines around the window or body trims, and no overspray.
Original paint or repainted?
@gsxr Appreciate it and you are correct! Thank you for clarifying. @AMG5pt4 Yes as with all collectible cars, the older they are the higher the tax for replacement parts. I'm sure there is someone somewhere hoarding them in their basement :D.
@W212Wolf The limited variant had 3 options grey, green, and red pattern interior/inserts. I believe customers had an option for regular/non-pattern interior as well. The most common I've seen is the grey/black combo. From what I've seen online there were a few limited trim with the grey/black combo listed on BAT, and 1 green interior listed here. This car is the only one I know of online and in the flesh with the red/black combo.
@ProdigalPetrolHead Pretty cool, Mercedes needs to take notes from their older cars.
@W212Wolf I hadn't either, it's great. Also, did you notice the matching leather case for the books?
Proper Mercedes color and wheels! I don't recall ever seeing a limited with a red interior before. I'll be watching this closely.
@BransonJk Driver Front - X0322 Driver Rear - X0822 Passenger Rear - X0121 Passenger Front - X0322 I don't have a depth gauge but all the tires are very similar in depth, roughly about 85-90% still. You can view the additional photos here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBwToC

@squadra21 Thanks!
@BransonJk Will do, I’ll post them later this afternoon.
@squadra21 Can you share the date codes on the tiires?

Yep, another E500E from Japan with RHD/LHT headlights and ROW (rest of world) headlights are No Longer Available and very hard/expensive to find new/used.
$20,000 bid placed by @Hero44
Sharp looking car! @MBM, there is a minor typo in the description... the headlights fitted are not "European-spec", they are Japan-spec (for left-hand traffic). These lights/lenses are designed for Japan/UK/Australia where they drive on the wrong side of the road. ;)
