The seller has included the following videos:
A V8 2+2 cabriolet Mercedes-Benz is a wonderful thing. As much as we love the W208, the W209 was a huge improvement over the previous generation. The interior build quality was massive over the earlier iteration as were the seats, refinement, NVH levels, and engine options. We finally got the 5.0-liter M113 in a CLK which fits the nature of a cabriolet so well. It goes like a scalded rat down the road when you punch it, but you have tons of low end torque to waft you and three other people along in comfort. This particular example is peak early 2000s. The cold metallic paint color goes well with the blue tinted glass and the gray interior is splendid to be in. This is what Germany wanted the new millennium to feel like – the vibe is perfect and feels like driving in a period correct Mercedes brochure. Don’t let the monochromatic colors fool you. These cabins are great to spend time in and with this car in darn near perfect, time capsule condition, you can live out your “04 rich” fantasies with its $60k window sticker (nearly $102k today). Since it’s a W209 with a M113 and 722.6 transmission, it’s just about as reliable as a Toyota Camry to boot. These are super undervalued cars today that are waiting for their moment of appreciation once everyone realizes how durable, tough, powerful, and comfortable they are. It helps that they look fantastic.

I know I won the prize. It’s definitely my lucky day!
@donna Congrats! One helluva car for the money. I'll reach out shortly. Really excited for you.
I'm around for the final moments for last minute questions. Good luck everyone! I'll chat with the winner soon.
@mbfan2024 Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad my efforts translate!
This is a real beauty; I mean, what can you get from Mercedes today that's even anywhere close? Plus an awesome seller, I'd buy again from him in a heartbeat, alas, my garage is currently full.
Final day of the auction! I'm working today, so if I don't respond immediately, that's why. I will be available during the final moments, however! I got a questions about tire tread depths: Fronts are at 7mm and the rears are at 8mm. Let's have fun with this one. It's a super nice car which is why I'm representing it on this account. I won't post mid-grade cars or junk here. Thanks everyone.

With 1 day remaining, please feel free to watch the video where I do a pre-purchase inspection on the car with an underside walkaround! The car is mechanically dialed in and shouldn't give the buyer any issues. This is a get in and drive kind of car. I'm here to answer any additional questions. With fall arriving, it's my favorite season to own a convertible. I always tend to buy drop tops this time of year. Plus, W209 heated seats will boil your kidneys and with the windows up, there's like no wind buffeting, so cool mornings are insanely pleasant, especially with a hot cup of coffee.

Beautiful car, good luck
Welcome everyone to the auction of this lovely M113 powered W209! Please sift through the gallery -- I tired to shoot everything on the car as honestly and as informatively as possible. Also please view the video provided as I cover the exterior, interior, undersides, driving impressions, and provide a pre-purchase inspection for interest bidders. This car came out of a collection in Alabama who I am friends with the owner, so I'm assisting him with the sale. The car is stored at Moto Escape here in Marietta, Georgia snuggled between a 14k mile 500SL, 1,700 mile Testarossa, and a lovely '60s Alfa Romeo. I am more than happy to show the car and provide test drives to locals. Feel free to comment here or PM me. I'm also available for phone calls and/or Facetime! Let me know if you need supplementary photos or video if I missed anything. Thanks!
