@Stuttgart_Steel thank you for your comment@Silvergreen I think the oil pan is fine.@Silvergreen I think you are correct@Silvergreen I work on these cars pretty often, so I hope I have some merit on the subject as a third party observer. On the hood that is old hood pad material that's still holding on. Likey original considering the miles of the car and the glue pattern. You can still get that hood pad -- I just installed one on a R107 the other day. Easy and cathartic job to do yourself. Just use the right 3M glue and let it off-gas before sticking on the new piece. For the subframe it's hard to tell from the pictures but the rear part of the subframe behind the oil pan is where you want to use a floor jack to lift the car on jack stands if you were to service the car. I'm assuming it just shows some wear there since the car is 46 years old. Front subframe shows a little bit of surface corrosion. I'm assuming it had an oil leak there which had collected some grime and someone cleaned it off with brake cleaner and which removed some of the paint on the metal subframe since the other side looks perfect. Again this is a SUPER nice underside on a C107 and something I would absolutely not be concerned about (I'd be bidding on this car if I didn't just buy a S123 -- I adore this example). The subframes on these are really really tough and this is fixable if you want a 100% perfect underside. Also, 318 and 319 show a fair amount of what looks to be surface rust on the subframe. It also shows possible signs that the subframe may have bottomed out, hit something, both in the front section and the section behind the oil plan. Do you know if the oil pan was also damaged and needed repair at the time?Good Morning seller on picture 293, the lower part of the hood pad is missing and the picture shows what i think is a remaining glue. Would you please confirm that it's not rust? thanks$15,550 bid placed by @Harzan808
@TheGerman Yes, the original wheels and tires are includes. In near perfect condition. The tires match the spare as delivered. Photos in the gallery. The wheels were very cool in the Miami Vice era. Funny how our tastes change.@MartinsGerman The BBS rims really look aweful on this beautiful car!! Are the original rims still available, and do they come with the car?I have owned four SLC’s in my lifetime including a very rare 450SLC 5.0. This car is by far the closest I ever seen to being original. If you look up the word pristine in the dictionary you will see a picture of this car next to the definition. I have pined for these works of art since college. FYI I have no connection to the seller or his agent. I just want to congratulate the new owner in advance! Love your taste in ART!$11,250 bid placed by @Creativemind

@Saildoc I see no sign of paint work on the car. The doors measure 5m, the fenders and top surfaces measure 7-11m. A lot more than modern cars. The a/c was functioning and cool when I checked it. Any car from this generation will require a periodic recharge.@allmack The owner is suffering from serious medical issues. He may have records but I do not have access to them. If you could see or drive this car you would not care.@MBMeezer The fuel system is not an issue on this car. He always used non ethanol fuel and it has been used on a regular basis.. It starts instantly and idles as new.Underbody photos have been added to the end of the gallery.Videos have been added to the listing showing a walk around, interior view, and driving footage.$10,250 bid placed by @Creativemind
Also: where are the walkaround and driving videos mentioned in the description? Thanks. If you are representing the single owner, can you tell us why there are no service records over 46 years?Beautiful: any info on the paint work? Has it been repainted? Can you take any readings of the paint thickness? Is the AC system functional? Any pics of the underside available?? ThanksAny information on the fuel system as a car this age and low mileage could easily have fuel tank, fuel line and pump issues? Am seeing cars needing entire new systems due to old gas/sitting for long periods.@MercedesDad Hey, thanks for the reminder here. We don't have any service records with the car, just all of the items, books, and accessories pictured in the gallery. Date codes are from 2000 and are out of date, but there's no signs of dry rot on them due to proper climate controlled storage. Thank you@Knobi Hey, there's no records regarding any timing chain service on the car. The owner used a private mechanic in Pulaski and reports regular service intervals even when the car was stored.Hi seller, making sure you saw my questions regarding service records and (BBS) tires age. Thank you.$10,000 bid placed by @Nevertooold

I don’t believe these late model SLC had timing chain issues. Their weak spot was the subframe.$5,000 bid placed by @Lundrill
