This 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC was originally delivered to Long Motors Inc of St. Paul, Minnesota in the fall of 1987 with an original MSRP of $77,350 according to the window sticker. The car is finished in Cabernet Red Metallic (587) over Medium Red (277) leather and is powered by a fuel-injected 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes fog lights, a sunroof, updated audio head unit, cruise control, automatic climate control, power-adjustable heated front seats w/memory and more. An oil and filter service was recently performed along with new tires installed in preparation for the sale. This C126 now shows 132k miles and is offered in New York with a leather binder containing the original owner’s manual, a window sticker, original radio operation guide, original SRS guide, original stamped maintenance book, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New York title.

The cabin features Medium Red (277) leather seating surfaces along with matching carpets and door panels. Amenities include heated power-adjustable front seats, dual-tone horn, automatic climate control, cruise control, an updated head unit, and burl wood trim accenting the dashboard, center console, and doors. The seller states that the A/C has been converted to R134a.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock, and a combination gauge for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and fuel economy. The six-digit odometer shows 132k miles.

The 5.5-liter M117 V8 features Bosch Jetronic fuel injection and was factory-rated at 238 horsepower with 287 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. An oil and filter service was recently performed in preparation for the sale.
