Thanks to everyone for all of the bids and comments so far! Today is the last day to bid and I"ll be checking back for any last minute questions. This honestly is a very clean example of a great car. I've put a lot of time and effort to ensure this car looks and drives the way Mercedes intended and I'm looking forward to seeing the car go to a good home! Good luck!
@JoeyBenz08 Hey, thanks for your interest but I'll need to keep my plates that are currently on the car.
@Armenian Hey! I have not had to send off the cluster for repair and I confirmed with the owner before me that he didn't either. Still could've been done before I suppose. Thanks!
I’m interested in buying your personal plates if your willing to sell them please contact me thanks [email protected]
@AMGguy Just sent mine out for repair $149. Two day turn around. I agree it is an easy fix. But I disagree that it's rare occurrence. Every C/E class I've owned had same issues for those years 2000-2002 all kept inside climate controlled storage. Regardless, they are unbelievable rides. Seen some go in the $45k range.
@Armenian I've seen many that have lasted without needing repair on the pixels like this even though it is a very common issue on 210s. Out of 5 I've only had pixel issues with one and it was a super easy fix.

@Danny88 exactly! I don't need another one honestly but this example would look good in ANY garage.
These 5.4 M113 engines are so great. I've seen a couple over the past year or so that had over 350k miles! I would be shocked if the cars being produced today could do the same

Beautiful example of W210 E55! Curious if the instrument panel was sent out for pixel repair in the past? I have never seen one of these to be in original factory condition so many years without repair. My 2001 E55 has only 19k miles is kept in climate control environment and still have a few of the pixels dying. Also my headliner is starting to sag in rear but these are very common minor issues these cars have. I will redo the headliner my self in "Alcantara" supplied by Relicate which is the same as OEM Mercedes/BMW and other car makers choice from the factory. Yes I am talented like that. It takes me about 3 days but the job I do is like the factory does it. Biggest problem doing headliner is removing it with all the old plastic pieces and clips tending to break. Once removed the rest is easy, although the sun visor mirrors tend to deteriorate and new OEM sun visors are hard to find. Once the job is done it's a very fulfilling feeling knowing you saved a bunch but even more that the job is done right! GLWA.

Love how clean this one is! This is why you buy from fellow enthusiasts. You want someone who has taken care of a car the way you do. GLWA!
