@Danny88 exactly! I don't need another one honestly but this example would look good in ANY garage.
Now this is the one
I have saw some 2000 & 2002 models that had NAV and vented seats options. But, indeed this may be the first I've saw that has had them along with parktronic. Question for the seller, does the parktronic and ventilation indeed work on this car?
@MBTech96 you are correct, the E50 is based on the E420 Avantgarde. I assume this is because that was the only v8 chassis option for the w210 at the time. To my knowledge (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), AMG was originally formed by former Mercedes engineers. They worked independently with Mercedes to build specific performance versions of models. Around the mid 90s they signed a contract with Mercedes to utilize their dealer networks to sell these vehicles more commonly (ironically, I think first vehicle offered was a w124 version of the E50 AMG). I have always wondered if this came about in response to Mercedes needing Porsche to assemble 500Es in the early 90s, as they were heavily tied up with production of the w140. In regards to the w210 E50 model, I believe the engine features modified cylinder heads by AMG, and was tuned to have a higher compression ratio compared to that of the normal 5.0L m113 engine. The exhaust was also tuned, and I believe the brakes are the same style of those on the R129 SL500. It was offered in 1996 and 1997, as the m113 was coming which featured a SOHC with 3 valves per cylinder in order to keep up with stricter new emissions requirements.
Out of curiosity, is there any particular reason why you're selling so soon?
Umm, is there any specific reason why auction has an end time of 4:50am on monday?
For the money, this is one of the best platforms Mercedes put out in my opinion. I owned a 2004 CLK500 for almost 10 years that I recently sold because I got a good deal on a 09 CLK550 last year. M113 engine is bulletproof compared to the m273. If you are a DIYer, they are easy to work on. I drove mine up & down the east coast a few times & never had any issues. Rarely anything major will go wrong with these if you keep up on maintenance. Its a great car that looks quiet but will still spin the wheels when you tell it to.
Remember seeing this one on CarsandBids... Was definitely a fan of it.
Hello, please forgive me if I missed this in the listing, but how many keys will be included in the sale of the vehicle? Thank you in advance.
Any particular reason why this one is back so soon? Buyer's remorse?
