This 2001 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG was sold new in Atlanta, Georgia with a pre-delivery inspection reported on February 14th, 2001. Since 2003 this E55 AMG has remained in the Southwest United States between Texas and New Mexico with five owners reported. The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Anthracite and Gray Leather (528) and powered by a 5.4-liter M113 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes Parktronic, factory COMAND, heated and ventilated multi-contour seats, 18″ AMG monoblock wheels, Xenon headlamps, halogen fog lamps, an electric rear rollerblind, a power glass sunroof, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The attached Carfax report shows a recent service consisting of an oil change in January 2022 along with OEM front rotors and pads at 90k miles. Aftermarket Vogtland lowering springs have been added along with a Magnaflow muffler and resonator delete. This AMG W210 currently shows 91k miles on the odometer, 4k of which were added by the seller since purchasing in late 2021, and is offered by the seller with factory literature, two keys, a recent Carfax report, and a clean New Mexico title.
This E55 is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features AMG bodywork including sculpted bumpers and side skirts. Additional equipment includes factory-optioned front and rear Parktronic, Xenon headlights with headlamp washers, front and rear fog lamps, a glass sunroof with tilt function, painted mirror caps, factory smoked tail lights, and dual AMG exhaust outlets. The seller notes the painted mirror caps and roof trim strips are showing fading and clear coat damage from sun exposure. The front AMG bumper shows an indentation along the impact strip on the right side and the rear bumper shows a scuff on the driver side impact strip. In November 2016, the Carfax report shows minor damage to the front of the car. The seller reports the car is free from any corrosion issues.
Staggered 18″ AMG monoblock wheels are fitted with Nitto NT555 G2 tires showing 2020 date codes and measuring 245/45 up front and 275/40 in the rear. A spare tire is mounted beneath the trunk floor along with the factory toolkit. Vogtland lowering springs and new front brake pads and rotors have been installed.
The cabin is finished in Anthracite and Gray Leather (528) across the seats, steering wheel, door cards, center console, armrests, and head rests. Black Birdseye Maple wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Several light cracks can be seen in the upper trim piece on the dashboard. Interior features and amenities include factory optioned Parktronic with indicator lights, heated and ventilated multi-contour front seats, COMAND infotainment, dual-zone automatic climate control with REST function, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a power rear sunshade. Factory floor mats are shown in matching Anthracite and Gray colors showing E55 AMG embroidered from the factory. The seller notes the driver's seat shows some creasing and discoloration along the Gray sections and the headliner has begun to sag in the far rear corners.
The AMG leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 91k miles and shows some missing pixels in the digital displays for temperature and time.
From the factory, the AMG-assembled 5.4-liter M113 V8 is rated at 354 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a shiftable five-speed automatic transmission. The seller states the resonators have been removed and also has a Magnaflow muffler installed. An oil and filter change was performed by the seller in January of 2021. The seller states that intermittently the car will not start on the first try, however, the car has always started in these situations upon a second try.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned minor damage in 2016 with consistent mileage updates reported throughout the life of the car. This E55 AMG is offered by the seller with factory literature, two keys, and a clean New Mexico title.

@willbatista could be anything from the battery, starter, fuel delivery, ignition switch or crank position sensor on its way out....
"The seller states that intermittently the car will not start on the first try, however, the car has always started in these situations upon a second try. " Is that normal? Does it need a new starter? Battery?
The amount of options on this car is impressive! Parktronic is almost never optioned stateside on 210s and ventilated seats on a 210 is awesome. Lots of potential here

@willbatista negative, but if you look at the pictures you can see a little dent in the front left. That might be it.
Does the seller have any details about the November 2016 damage to the front of the car ?
A walkaround and driving video have been added to the listing.
@scurry Videos are added to the listing, thanks!

Need to see a driving video. Very important.
Holy options! Just needs a little love to be perfect and massively collectible
@ed_ba Should be fairly simple to test Parktronic, just get close to anything. Beeps and bars increase as you get closer. Simple thing to clarify to potential buyers. Definitely rare to see both so a simple clarification could help you get a higher bid.
@Armenian Ventilated Seats (401), Parktronic (220), and COMAND (352) were options for 2000+ model years, not just 2001.
@Steaknshrimp500 the lights for parktronic definitely work when you start the car, but to be honest I haven't actually tested it. The vent seats work , but not as good when the car was new. You can feel a little coolness under you.
I have saw some 2000 & 2002 models that had NAV and vented seats options. But, indeed this may be the first I've saw that has had them along with parktronic. Question for the seller, does the parktronic and ventilation indeed work on this car?
Yes, this is a very rare "highly optioned" 2001 E55 AMG. I have the same one but with only 19k miles. These examples were so rare I don't think Mercedes kept separate production numbers on these optioned examples. If anyone here has any idea on how many Nav/Parktronic/Vented seats examples there were in 2001 please let us know your source. Interestingly I have only seen these options on 2001 models, not on 2000 or 2002, I may be wrong but it's my observation. In conclusion yes, very rare and will be highly sought after for people who understand the market.
