This 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) over Black/Anthracite Nappa Leather (851) and shows only 32k miles since new. Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 5.4-liter M113 V8 paired with a seven-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. This example shows North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia registration since it was first sold in June 2008. Recent service includes a complete fluid flush and filter change performed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale. Factory equipment includes Bi-Xenon headlamps, COMAND with Harman Kardon sound, heated seats with Neckscarf, and factory satellite radio. Later model 18” AMG wheels wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 225/40 up front and 245/35 out back. Tucked behind the wheels AMG-branded calipers handle braking.
The interior features Black/Anthracite Nappa Leather (851) upholstery on the seating surfaces, headrests, door cards, steering wheel, and shift knob along with matching carpets and AMG-branded floor mats. Alcantara inserts accent the upper seat backs. Aluminum trim adorns the door cards, dashboard, and handbrake handle. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, COMAND with navigation, and Neckscarf heaters in the seats. Both seats present very well with little to no wear shown. All bolsters have retained shape and no creasing can be seen.
AMG-branded instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and fuel level gauge. The center screen displays 32k original miles. Other display information includes trip functions, gear selection, engine temperature and other multifunction options controlled by the steering wheel controls.
The 5.4-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 362 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. Recent service includes a complete fluid flush and filter change performed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale.

It is one of the best motors Mercedes made, like @YAFA replied, 200k miles is no problem. You probably confused the 5.4 V-8 with the later 6.2 V-8 which did have head bolt issues for about a year and a half or two years of production. So from initial production date to about 2009 or early 2010, but best way is check the serial number against the official list.
