@nosubstutI honestly don’t know as I have only owned it since last summer, but the car sits level and rides great in all three suspension modes
@jcd214yes only the tune and filters are Weistec. Headers are OBX (some of the better ones with very nice welds and perfect fitment). I am a mechanic and did the work myself as this is a pretty straight forward bolt on modification, not difficult just time consuming. I do have the original parts to reinstall as well (cats and resonator). Wouldn’t think head bolts have ever been changed as it only has 39,000 original miles and no engine issues. I did install new engine and transmission mounts when I did the exhaust work, not because they needed done, but since loosening them was part of the header install process I did it just to ensure they won’t need replaced any time in the near future.
@jcd214The crack is just a small hairline from too to bottom as I have seen many pictures of this same model do. I have tried to research what has causes it and to my understanding I think the wood underneath the clearcoat somewhat moves and shrinks during climate changes due to its thin thickness and cracks to clear on top. I’m thinking it is only cracked on the clear as it is not openly separating, only a small hairline crack you can feel with your finger nail. In certain light you cannot see it, but when the sun hits it a certain way you can.
@jcd214Thank you for the inquiry. As for the history I have only owned this since august of last year so other than the Carfax I really don’t know. As far as the number of previous owners I can’t say as to why other than it is 17 years old and people’s needs and tastes change. I did the performance upgrades about 1,000 miles ago and it really made a huge difference in acceleration over stock. I don’t have any videos to show the sound but it pretty much sounds like any of the other 219 Cls63’s in the youtube videos with the same mods. Cold start naturally is louder than stock but much more mellow when it kicks down into idle and just cruising through town. The headers and pipes come much more alive on hard accelerations. Hope this helps.
