@brianpergamenthello The video on instagram posted by blaklyleonard gives a great view of the headliner. I believe there are two sets of keys and like everything else with this car, they are in fine condition.
@brianpergamentThanks for your interest in the car. I purchased the car from a very reputable and recommended curator/dealer of fine and unique cars. I assumed from the long ownership history that this car was well loved and that the condition of the interior and exterior also extended to the mechanicals. The car is in amazing shape. I know that the tires were virtually new upon my purchase and as for the missing maintenance records, I only know that the mass airflow meter was changed out (pretty common in my experience) and the rear brakes were done. I am not sure I will be able to get tire tread depth measurements for you as the car is in storage many hours from here. Again, thank you for your interest in the finest E55 I have had the pleasure of owning.
@993tatsHello and thanks for your interest in the E55. This is directly from the DMV in Connecticut and I will deliver all documents and be available through the process of registering the vehicle if needed. From CTDMV: To transfer ownership of a classic car (over 20 years old) in Connecticut, you need the most recent registration certificate, a completed Supplemental Assignment of Ownership (Form Q-1), and a Bill of Sale (Form H-31), along with the buyer's identification and completed application for registration. The buyer will also need their own insurance, and the seller must provide their signature on the documents to complete the transfer. Please let me know if this answers your questions or if you have any others.
@sirmathrocksIt looks like 1,200 or so produced for the worldwide market and only 500 for the USA
I had the same model. One of the best cars I have owned. This one is much cleaner. I actually got 33-34mpg at 75mph. Small diesel leaks, easily fixed. That is all I had to replace during three years of ownership. Good luck.
@Vlad600selwell he won an SLS Amg Roadster 3k miles....
Well bought
Go get em mbzcollector
Tempted to get in on this beauty.
This is a great car, I had one and ran it up to 240k and sold it. Never quite got 36mpg but got a consistent 34mpg at 70mph on highway runs.
@poppysThank you
Very Excited!
