This 1999 Mercedes-Benz E300 Turbodiesel was sold new by Mercedes-Benz of Winston-Salem out of North Carolina in December of 1998 and lived with the first owner until 2011. It then shows subsequent registration in Georgia until 2020 and was purchased by the third owner who lived in Indianapolis, New York, and Ohio from 2020 to 2025 when the current owner out of New York purchased the car. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Gray Leather (208) This E300 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six was modified with a Holset HE400WG turbocharger, Dieselmeken mechanical injection pump, an upgraded intercooler, 150bar fuel injectors, and a Walbro mechanical fuel pump with similar builds making mid 400-horsepower to the wheels. An NAG1 five-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential were also installed, and additional modifications include a painted Brabus-style body kit that covers the original black cladding, H&R lowering springs, B8 Bilstein shocks, 18″ staggered AMG Monoblock wheels, and an external transmission cooler in the front bumper. This W210 E300 Turbodiesel has just under 120k miles and is now offered out of New York with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, three keys, service records, parts receipts, a clean Carfax report, and a New York title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and has been fitted with a Brabus-style body kit that is paint matched to cover the original black cladding. Exterior amenities include a power tilt and sliding glass sunroof, sweeping mono-blade windshield wiper, fog lights, rear window defrost, and power adjustable mirrors with automatic tilt for reverse gear. Aftermarket tint has been applied to the windows and the seller has included pictures of all exterior defects including clear coat crazing on some panels. The rear bumper and body kit were repainted in 2024.
Rare 18″ staggered AMG Aero II Monoblock wheels are mounted with 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 2 tires with 2020 date codes. The car is equipped with Automatic Slip Control (ASR) and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and has the added benefit of a Custom Traction Concepts Limited Slip Differential Conversion kit that is designed for drag racing or spirited backroad driving. The rear differential got a complete reseal, a used replacement steering rack was sourced, and tie rods installed up front. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated discs with E55 AMG calipers and Dynamic Friction brake pads. H&R lowering springs and Bilstein shocks have been installed with thinner spring pads to dial in the ride height.
The interior cabin is trimmed in Gray Leather (408) with a Slate Gray upper dashboard split with Burl Walnut wood that also traces the door panels and center console. Interior amenities include front-seat position memory, a cassette stereo, a Bose premium sound system with added aux capabilities, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The gray carpets are protected by OEM all-weather floor mats. A LCD screen that shows boost and monitors other tuning vitals has replaced the storage compartment under the radio. The headliner is sagging and the driver seat bottom is showing some dye wear.
The four-spoke black leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts AMG paddle shifters and a 160-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just under 120k miles, approximately 1,400 of which were added under current ownership. The seller notes the warning light illuminates when the headlights are on due to the aftermarket LED bulbs.
The OM606 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six was modified under the previous ownership. Featuring a cast iron block with a DOHC aluminum head, factory power has been increased to approximately the mid 400s to the wheels for horsepower. The previous owners' saved service records from 15k miles in 2003 and up with lots of dealer services performed. During the modification process, many parts were respectably replaced to refresh the engine, transmission, braking system, fuel system, hoses, lines, transmission, and driveline. Detailed parts invoices are included in the gallery. Heavy modifications to the engine include:
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a NAG1 automatic transmission removed from a 2011 Dodge Charger. This version of the 722.6 transmission was produced for Daimler Chrysler and featured a more robust design for prolonged torque. A custom filler tube and external cooler with an automatic fan was installed for the transmission. The EGR has been deleted and a 3″ exhaust system with a Vibrant resonator and Jegs baffled muffler have been added. Every receipt for this E300 Turbodiesel build was saved and photographed in the gallery. Detailed underside pictures are also included below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents, four owners, and 32 service hits. This modified W210 E300 Turbodiesel has just under 120k miles and is now offered out of New York with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, three keys, service records, parts receipts, a clean Carfax report, and a New York title in the seller’s name.
One of our very own at The MB Market daily drives a 1999 E300 TD on Monoblocks that has a smidge under 300k miles on it. It’s a fleet favorite with its refinement, good steering feel with Mercedes-Benz’s early use of rack and pinion, and character that naturally comes with the OM606 engine. We sometimes have intrusive thoughts of making it into a high horsepower monster. We’re elated to have this modified E300 on the site where intrusive thoughts won and created an AMG Turbodiesel. Let us tell you, we’re here for it. This is tuning done right on an OM606. A lot of people that get into modifying cars will bolt a big turbo with a tune on a car and roll with it. It’s easy to forget you have to upgrade all ancillary parts that support these systems like brakes, fueling, wheels/tires, cooling, etc. to extract all potential out of your mods. The LSD provides grip along with the rare 18” Aero II wheels, the Brabus body kit provides the sporty look, and the owners that modified the car also serviced the “while you’re in theres” with new hoses, fluids, seals, gaskets, and painted/cleaned where was necessary. Also, you must watch the video of it breaking traction at 60 MPH when boost hits. This is a German, diesel powered JXZ100 and it’s just cool as hell.

@benzwishes spirited driving (: coming back from Ohio over a few hundred miles in between fill ups I believe I averaged 23-25
Seller- w all this HP/Mods-- what is real world MPG on highways for long trips??? LEGAL speeds...lol
Good morning everyone and thank you for your interest. @gsxr yes that is correct. I flew to Ohio and drove this car back without any issues. I had full intentions to turn the car down if the beast didn't impress the hell out of me. It exceeded my expectations to say the least. I was also skeptical without proof that this car made the power that was advertised. Again, all the proof I needed was a mile drive. Also wanted to add: this car has fully functional paddle shifters. In the driving video you can hear from 3-4 shift there is a flare. See attached link, this is a common condition with the ofgear controller. https://ofgear.dk/generalinfo/34flare.html I see 2/3 videos have been uploaded at this point. I will give it some more time and reach out if the 3rd video doesn't show up. Thanks for your interest and please reach out with any other questions or concerns!
Just to clarify - it was the previous owner in Ohio who had the engine & powertrain modifications performed, correct? And the current owner has had the car less than 6 months... and nobody ever put it on a dyno to verify power output? REALLY nice setup here. Would love to see actual power output, not estimates from "similar builds". BTW - I cannot find the driving video. Do I need more coffee this morning? ;-) EDIT: After refreshing the page, 3 videos are now appearing - thanks!
