@Smrlsn09awesome. Thanks much! My ETs are 35, so I thought the wheels would likely work. Any idea on shipping costs to 94501? (Oh, it's a C209...I hate roofs over my head!)
Will these fit a 2004 CLK55 AMG? If so, I'm definitely interested.
Ahoy from SF! Do you have any photos of the wheels on an SL or other Benz? Thinking these might be nice on my CLK 55 AMG convertible.
@Frenchfelgenawesome. Thanks!
They’re ET38, so should fit a C209 AMG? Also, shipping estimates for San Francisco? Definitely interested!
Hi seller...will these fit a C209 (2004 CLK 55 AMG)? Let me know...they look great!
Interesting provenance, but the bottom line is the fact it’s a decent 280SL in good running condition. If I win, I’d probably use it as a daily, and not restore it to be a garage queen.
@VantageAutogotcha! And yeah, I hear you about "can't keep them all."
@VantageAutooh right...it was here. Wondering why you're selling the car after such a short ownership?
Gorgeous car...was this recently up on Cars & Bids? I have a 2004 CLK55 AMG convertible that I bought on auction here and it's a blast. The 63 is even more insane. GLWTA
I bought my current '04 CLK55 AMG convertible from MB Market, but think I need two in my stable! Gorgeous car...love the two-tone interior and upgraded Head unit. Can you tell more about it?
@LionHeartnot a problem, since I still keep a residence on Hilton Head Island and have an SC driver’s license. I think I need two SC-tagged SLs… I’m a full time live-aboard sailor, hence my current SF location.
Ahoy from San Francisco… I see this convertible is registered in the state of Florida. What are the odds that it will pass smog here in California? I ask because I also have a 380 SL that is currently registered in South Carolina due to not being able to pass smog in California. also, this is an absolutely stunning car! I love it.
Has the car passed smog? If so, this is a worthy E-Class.
I’ve got an AMG convertible, so a 4-door might be fun.
Oh hey! Did I win the bid on this lovely beast? If so…HUZZAH!
Gorgeous, somewhat rare version of this model. GLWTA!
@StingrayABawesomeness. Thanks. I need to add this as a stable-mate for my ‘85 380SL. Love these cars.
Gorgeous Benz. Can you take some additional photos of it with the top stowed, or a video of it in operation?
