You all dodged a bullet. We were the winning bidder and purchased the car after what we thought was a detailed discussion with the seller and reviewing the listings on BaT and Cars and Bids. Unfortunately, the photos seemed to intentionally leave out the scale of the clearcoat issues with significant failure present on the roof, trunk lid and both rear quarter panels. Additionally, it appears as though the entire passenger side of the car was pelted by stones from something like a snow blower with damage/chipping to the paint, glass and chrome. And the car’s registration was not up to date with a sizable penalty when we transferred the title into our name. And of course, the car dribbles oil. Live and learn.
Belmanni I’ll be here if you want to part with it down the road .. wink wink

Just commenting to say this is a really cool spec. The M110 in a W126 would be a really satisfying car to drive with that high RPM redline with the bank vault 126 build quality.
It's got the dash ducts; I wonder what the cost would be to add A/C? In AZ, this is a must-have. The only thing I don't have A/C on is my Corvair which is only driven in the winter months.

@jspitz - Buyer ghosted me after the auction. BaT reached out to him and a lot of excuses - non about the the Mercedes.
@Stunt_Road, could you shed some light on this car’s recent sale on BaT on May 24th?
@Jim_Rosenthal - Good questions, no A/C.
Does this car have AC? I was not able to tell, ,but I did not think it does.
What a rippa Would love to rip that down the autobahn
This Euro-spec gem is awesome! Cloth interior and hand-cranked windows in the back seat - can’t get those here under the control of MB of North America. The W126 is just one of the best cars they ever produced, the pinnacle of the company’s legacy. Would love to own this one. GLWTA!!!
