@WalidMBWe just bought the car 'as is' a month ago. I have no idea who did the modifications. Yes, it is a matching numbers car. Only the passenger side front fender is different, the rest is all the same. It is hard to tell if the paint is original, if it was painted it seems to be a very long time ago.

This engine is definitely much quieter than a 240D. I did not notice any unusual noises. I’m not sure if this gearbox is different from the 240 D. Thank you for your interest.
