I've always wanted an S124. Pretty excited. @AMGMB I sent you an email.
Thank you TomZom
Congrats @lassy07 ! Thank you for your interest, bidders
About 20 hours left on the auction, I'll be here most of the day for questions. You can contact me direct through the link or I will reply to comments. Also, if anyone is interested, my mechanic in Milwaukee who has worked on the car could be contacted if you want a third party. He isn't the one who built it but has done some work on the car since December of 2020. Good luck to the bidders! This thing is really a fun track car and really nice to drive. I'll be sad to see it go but I am building another just like it, only for the street!
@TennisidiotMilwaukee airport (MKE) is 20 minutes away
@Tennisidiot A second seat can easily be installed. It needs a proper bracket. I believe flieben_ca (on instagram) sells one.
@mfedorovI can try... do you know where that might be located?
@mfedorovNo AC, that is correct.
@css008It's 35 years old - I am not sure about the smog rules out there. It has everything that the state of Wisconsin requires to be operable, except no longer has a horn (it had one, I took it off after it got registered).
@OddballCarGuyI can give a larger version of the photo to MB Market and they can post it if anyone wants to see more detail.
@OddballCarGuyas far as any damage, when I had it up on the lift (two weeks ago) and took the photos, I did not notice anything. I can't tell in the photo what specifically you are referring to. I probably cannot get a better look before the auction ends (the facility where I store the car is now full of cars because it's cold outside).
@OddballCarGuyYes, I still have the OZ wheels. They can be included.
FYI, the Sparco seat in the car is a Small. I am 5'7" and it works great for me. It can be adjusted easily but it's not on a slider. I also have a Medium available if the buyer would like to have it.
@Potomac_Pat it feels like it's more than 207 but that is the dyno result from the previous owner (and engine builder). I know that the acceleration is similar to my BMW M4 and I can spin the tires shifting into 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. I hit 104 mph on the front straight of Road America, which isn't spectacular but felt great (and a little scary).
@gsxr Thanks for your interest. I have not weighed it but the previous owner reported it to be approximately 2,000 pounds
