@PrincetonMCOh my! Just realized those were all the records for the 85 and not the 84. Records for this 84 are now added and replaced! Sorry for the confusion on that and thank you both for catching that.
@EuropeanCHey, those two invoices are actually from an 85 280SL that I used to own as well. Sorry those got mixed up in the records. I've asked MB Market to remove those from the gallery to prevent confusion. Thanks for pointing that out.
@BakocaddyI just checked everything out and all systems are in working order. The radio frequency has a bit of static, and I remembered that the driver door did not have an actuator when I acquired the car so the locks are all individually mechanical. Thanks!
@MBMeezerI tried to have pull the liners up but they are very snug. You can see the photos added to the gallery that I was able to get. Feel free to come look at it. I've got it currently garaged at @blakleyleonard 's house as he took the photos for the listing. Thanks
@MBMeezerI didn't find any rust underneath the car or on the lower quarter panels where you would typically see rust. I have not removed the antenna or removed any liners. Pictures try to show as clearly as possible these areas. There are no maintenance records that came with the car. A valve adjustment was done in 2023 with most of the other major services mentioned in the description according to the gentlemen I purchased the car from. He knew the original owning family and I was told it had been well-loved and serviced properly its whole life. Based on the condition of the car and the way it drives, I would fully support that claim. My mechanical also inspected the car before I listed it and fluids appeared to all be good currently. What is that grey plastic piece in pic #73 ? It is a completely different color than the surrounding upholstery.
