This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500SEC 6.0 AMG Coupe originated as a German market example where it was reportedly modified early by AMG-Germany. Finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) over a two-tone Black and Grey leather interior, power is provided by an AMG-built 6.0-liter M119 V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional AMG upgrades include a full body kit, 19" AMG monoblock wheels, 300-kph gauge cluster, exhaust, ECU, and TCU. This C140 includes AMG stamps on the associated parts, ashtray, wheels, body kit sections, and the engine block. Standard equipment includes a sunroof, soft-close doors, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear roller blind, rear power headrests, and self-leveling rear suspension. The car underwent refurbishment in March of 2024 including new brake lines, ignition cables, spark plugs, tires, fuel filter, and more. This C140 AMG now shows 134k kilometers (~83k miles) and is offered by the seller with partial service records and a clean German registration and title.
The car is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) with an original AMG body kit paint-matched to the car showing AMG stamps on each panel. The front bumper shows a period-correct one piece AMG badge and again on the right side of the trunk. AMG-stamped exhaust tips are seen from the rear. The body underwent a full repaint in 2024 in the original color, and at the same time a new front windshield and rear glass were installed. Features include an electric sunroof with tilt function, power rear parking poles, and a soft-close trunk lid and doors. Detailed photos of the body can be seen in the gallery.
Staggered 19" AMG Monoblock wheels are fitted wrapped in new Continental Conti Sport Contact 6 tires which were replaced in March 2024. The tires measure 255/35 front and 285/35 rear, and the wheels are in excellent condition with no major imperfections. New brake lines were installed in March 2024.
The cabin is trimmed in Exclusive two-tone Black and Grey leather (561) which was swapped from a V12 C140. The original interior color was Palomino as noted on the datacard. Matching black carpeting and floor mats are fitted, while AMG wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, shifter surround, gear selector, steering wheel, and doors. Equipment includes power-adjustable and heated front seats with orthopedic backrests, dual-zone automatic climate control, an electric rear-window sunshade, and a factory Bose sound system.
The wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to an electrically-adjustable steering column and fronts an AMG-labeled 300-kph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and instant economy. The six-digit odometer shows 134k kilometers (~83k miles).
Power is provided by an AMG-tuned 6.0-liter M119 V8 which is conservatively rated at 381 horsepower. AMG stickers denoting the 6.0L upgrade are seen on the radiator support and valve covers. Additionally, an AMG stamp can be found on the engine block. The seller reports the car features an AMG-tuned ECU and TCU along with air filters, intake inlets, and engine internals. Service in March 2024 included new ignition cables, distributor, fuel filter, air filters, spark plugs, and new brake lines.
This C140 AMG Coupe now shows 134k kilometers (~83k miles) and is offered by the seller with partial service records and a clean German title and registration.

@JWCT genuine front and rear glass
@radboxx, Was the replacement glass sourced from Mercedes or other? And I am assuming the listing needs to be updated from 500sec to cl60? Thanks!

Beautiful car. I have a '93 600 SEC and can't believe how comfortable and solid the coupe is. Just got back from a round-trip road trip to Dallas from Tucson. Quiet, smooth, powerful. And the stereo is like a concert hall.

Very nice. I have a 1999 CL600 and a S and SL600. The coupe is such a joy to drive and perfectly balanced. Really wonderful vehicles. I just can’t say enough about how enjoyable they are especially the C140. Question for Seller- What’s it like driving around Germany in one of these? Do “young” people like them or is it frowned upon because of some environmental nonsense or them being luxury object ?
