Decided to lower the reserve a bit this morning. I hate to see it sell for less than what it’s worth, but we have 13 cars at the moment and need to thin the herd. Otherwise I’d be keeping this wagon for many years to come! I have a feeling someone will be winning a great car for a great price today!

Final day! I’ll be around if there are any last minute questions. Don’t miss out on this gorgeous, low mileage wagon!
@Tsantos0913 rides like you would never know the springs are cut! This is only way to lower them as they don’t make springs for the 4Matic S210s. The stance is perfect and the ride is great!

How’s it ride with those cut springs?

@GRatl pictures of the battery tray and bottoms of the doors have been uploaded. The only rust is a small spot above the seal on the front passenger door.

@Jthomasson Bottom of the doors, thanks! Want to see if the rust has made its way there as it is a common spot. Same with the battery tray.
@GRatl sure, where under the door seals would you like to see? It will probably be tomorrow before I can get those.
Could you take some photos under the door seals and of the battery tray?
@GRatl it does appear to be sagging a little over the cargo area, but honestly I didn’t notice it until you said something. It doesn’t look bad in person.
Am I seeing correctly that the headliner is failing?

@GregF I appreciate the info. Good to know it might just be normal for these cars. We replaced the motor and transmission mounts. It’s very minor, but I wanted to make sure the buyer is aware of everything.
Additional photos have been added to the gallery showing the spare set of OEM wheels and tires, along with receipts for new parts recently installed.
Maybe its the nature of this engine but my 2000 with 200K miles vibrates a bit at idle too. It was much worse before I had the engine mounts replaced, but still vibrates a bit. I don't know if this engine was ever silky smooth at idle, even when new, but at speed there is no vibration at all - really smooth. The mounts wear out over time. An easy way to test to see if mounts are needed is to start the car, put your foot on the brake firmly, put the car in drive and then rev the engine. If the engine twists like it wants to jump out of the car you have your answer - new mounts needed. It'll be pretty obvious if they are shot. Not a huge issue to replace them. Pelican has a DIY video that is helpful.
@Jthomasson thank you

@assistboy yes it vibrates slightly when warm, nothing too concerning but I try to be fully transparent when selling a car. We have replaced the transmission mount and spark plugs. We have not addressed it beyond that because it was so minor.
love the color combination and the choice of wheels. have you looked into the vibration at idle? does it occur when the engine is warm?
@GregF thank you for the kind words! We put Continental radios in all of our older Benzes, they don’t look too out of place while offering Bluetooth functionality. This has been a great wagon for us and with only 81k miles it still has lots of life left for the next owner!
Great looking wagon! I love my 2000 with over 200k miles. These are some of the best values in the used modern classic market. Get em while they are reasonable. @seller I usually don’t like aftermarket head units in these cars, but the Continental is the perfect choice. In fact all of your upgrade/changes appear perfect to my eye; slightly lowered on monoblocks is so right. Best of luck but I don’t think you’ll need it!
I realized during the walk around video that the passenger fog light was burnt out. It has since been replaced!
Hello and thanks for viewing my wagon! I bought this car a year and a half ago after a lengthy search for a clean S210. After owning an S123, S124, S212 and S213, it seemed only fitting to add this to my collection. Unfortunately it is time for me to part with it as we currently are maxed out on storage and we need to thin the herd a bit. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer example - although it does have a couple small rust spots (I think every S210 has rust below the rear glass), they are easily fixed and overall the car is super clean, the interior still looks new. The stock wheels and tires will be included in the sale. I will be available to answer questions/comments as the auction progresses!
