We have uploaded an additional quick driving clip taken today after the vehicle was picked up from the shop.
An additional driving video has been added to the listing.
Good Afternoon, Shop just gave us a call that the car is ready to be picked up and the check engine light has cleared. Both air pressure sensors seemed to be the ones cause the check engine light due to some build up to, both were pulled out and cleaned. Please let us know if there are any further questions with regards to this update. Good luck!
Special car. Pano roof appears to be missing an interior trim piece.
A walk-around video has been added to the listing.
Good Morning, Vehicle has been dropped off at the shop this AM and we will update accordingly. Walk around video has been submitted along with some pictures of the car with the soft top on that we took this morning before the car was dropped off.

@CJAubert - Exclusive to the V-12 SA were also more leather in the dash area and the glass panorama roof. This creates a different profile than the standard SL roof that came on the V-8 SA. The roof alone was a $9,000 option on other SLs. Hence the $149k sticker price on this car in 2002. Quite lofty.....
@cjaubert The V12 cars got black seats with contrasting perforations. The V8 Silver Arrows got the two-tone you're thinking of. there were only 100 of the V12's made so this is considerably more rare.
@ASGMiami 1500+ miles in the last 12 years? There's something fishy here. Also, I'm not a Silver Arrow expert, but I don't recall seeing one with all black seats. Maybe I'm wrong...
@ASGMiami Thank you, but original cylinders is not something I'm interested in. It's at least a $3K job (if you don't do it yourself), and this, with the apparently new Check Engine light, scares me off. It totally understand that the Check Engine light might be nothing, but, at the same time, it might be something more than nothing. Good luck.

Photo 45 appears to show a scuff on the LF valence -- or a reflection? That is a scuff, confirmed. - Photos 152/153 show the wood as brown, while it's supposed to be black birds eye maple. Has this been changed? Same thing came to mind when they brought us the car, but the car was delivered to us exactly how the father had left to the family. - Photo 228 appears the handle is missing on the console tambor door? - Photo 318 shows 35,325 miles in 2012. So this car has only been driven 1500+ miles in the last 12 years? Car has been stored here in Miami with occasional startups frequently but not many miles put on. - Have the soft top cylinder hydraulics been updated? We have no record indicating this was updated. Soft top hydraulics are all in functional order. - Any PPF on the front end? There is no PPF on the car. - Do the trunk air cylinders hold the trunk lid up? Yes the trunk cylinders hold the trunk open when opened.
@JoeyBenz08 Yes this vehicle was passed down within the same family which is why it shows two owners. But the transfer was done in the more recent years which can be confirmed with the Carfax report.
Beautiful car and definitely the Holy Grail of R-129s. A few questions..... - Photo 45 appears to show a scuff on the LF valence -- or a reflection? - Photos 152/153 show the wood as brown, while it's supposed to be black birds eye maple. @CJaubert We have no record indicating that the top cylinders have been replaced. But we have tested the opening and closing operation, and all is working as it should be.
We would like to inform everyone that an interested party came by today for a test drive and we noticed that the check engine light came on. The owner has requested us to have the car sent over the shop ASAP to have it diagnosed and have it corrected.
Seller, please respond to unanswered questions. Thanks
