@MSerpe Underside photos have been uploaded. Re the recall, thanks for that info. They have not addressed BUT we'll make the appointment with our dealer here in Atlanta before the next owner takes delivery if the winning bidder desires.
@GASMotorcars Thanks for the thorough reply on my questions and I look forward to the upcoming undercarriage photos. The recall that is shown on the carfax is not a brake recall, although, yes that was one from the past and I am glad to see that was addressed as you mentioned by MB HH. The current one which was issued in January 2023 is as follows: 01/19/2023 Mercedes-Benz USA LLC Manufacturer Safety recall issued NHTSA #22V954 Recall #2023010006 Recall - Safety Title Topic: Bonding of the Sliding Roof PENDING 22P2197578 MY: 2001-2011 Model(s): E320CDI, E320, E350, E500 Status: Remedy Available Description: Mercedes-Benz AG ("MBAG"), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain Model Year ("MY") 2001 2011 C-Class, CLK (209 platform), E-Class (211 platform) and CLS (219 platform) vehicles, the bonding between the glass sunroof panel and the sliding roof frame might not meet specifications. In this case, the adhesion of the bond might deteriorate gradually over time. Therefore, the specified durability requirements of the bond would not be guaranteed. As a consequence, a separation of the glass panel from the vehicle cannot be ruled out. This could increase the risk of a potential accident and/or injury for other road users. As a precautionary measure an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, will check the glass panel bonding on the affected vehicles and replace the sliding roof, if necessary In this case, the adhesion of the bond might deteriorate gradually over time. Therefore, the specified durability requirements of the bond would not be guaranteed. As a consequence, a separation of the glass panel from the vehicle cannot be ruled out. This could increase the risk of a potential accident and/or injury for other road users. Remedy: As a precautionary measure an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, will check the glass panel bonding on the affected vehicles and replace the sliding roof, if necessary That is the one I was wondering if perhaps the dealer also attended to while it was there recently for service. They do it for free so might as well ask em. Thanks.
Good afternoon all, We've had a lot of phone calls on the car and have uploaded a lengthy video showing all the details we can think of. A few questions that have come up a couple times: -Full fluid flush was completely wet to dry and back. (transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, radiator fluid, and rear differential) -Underside photos will come tomorrow during the day. The previous auction here should also show that for those interested. -the brake recall was performed by MB Hilton Head in the last year For reference, the most recent services include new batteries, fuel filters, and the flush. Between the previous owner (who most here know ;) ) and the current, this car's seen multiple enthusiast owners and we encourage anyone interested to call us or message us with questions.

Hi nice car, some questions... For the "full fluid flush"....does that include transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, radiator fluid, and rear differential gear oil? Do you have photos showing the underside of the car, the suspension, brakes, rocker panels, etc? Was the NHTSA recall (shown) on carfax taken care of at an MB dealer yet? thanks
Headliner photos?
