This 1998 Mercedes-Benz E320 was sold new in the Summer of 1997 in Illinois and remained with the original owner in the state for its entire life prior to acquisition by the selling dealer in January. The car is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702) over Mushroom leather (205) and is powered by a 3.2L V6 backed by a 5-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped with the Elegance Package, Memory Package, automatic climate control, a power sunroof, and automatically dimming side-view mirrors. Now in North Carolina, this one-owner E320 is offered by the selling dealer with the original window sticker, factory literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The exterior of this W210 is finished in Smoke Silver Metallic (702U) and remains in fully original condition. Features include a power-operated sunroof and fog lights. This W210 wears the original silver-finished 16″ wheels wearing Michelin Energy tires measuring 215/55 with 2018 date codes. The car retains factory lighting and close-up photos of the finish and trim are provided in the gallery below.
The cabin is upholstered in Mushroom leather (205A/200A) with dark burl wood veneers on the dash, center console, and doors. The car retains a factory stereo, and is equipped with automatic climate control, cruise control, and the driver seat memory package for the seat, tilt wheel, and mirrors. The dash and wood veneer remains free from cracking and rich in color.
The 3.2L M112 V6 was introduced for the 1998 model year and was factory-rated at 221 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. The car is equipped with a 5G-Tronic automatic transmission which sends power to the rear wheels. The seller notes that an oil change was recently performed in preparation for the sale.
The original window sticker still accompanies the car and shows a total price with options of $47,900 in 1997 for the 1998 model year. Factory literature is included in a black leather portfolio with zipper closure.
Additional photos of the underside are provided and show the floors, rockers, and undertrays.
The Carfax report shows ownership exclusive to Illinois and the selling dealer notes that approximately 5 miles have been added to the odometer in the last two months. An exterior walk-around video is viewable below.

Even though this is my least favorite body of any mercedes sedan, 11k miles makes it very attractive
Can't believe this only has 11k miles! I do that in less than a year. GLWA!

There's something so appealing about a car this clean and simple. These were so underrated and have aged better than anyone could've ever expected.
@dean_laumbach- totally agree. These 210's just seem to have something special in the build. Too much tech has ruined that feeling.

Over the past 10 years I purchased 3 base model W210 for resale purposes. All 3 of them wound up being kept long term and my son still drives one of them today. Nice driving cars, and very roomy and comfortable. These cars are also very reliable and easy to work on. A LOT OF CAR ... Nice seeing one as new again.
