This 1999 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG is one of just over 500 US-spec examples built for the 1999 model year. The car was previously sold on The MB Market in April 2021. The seller acquired the car in July 2023 and has added approximately 11k miles of the 148,840 miles since the purchase. Finished in a repainted Glacier White (143) over an Anthracite (581) leather interior, power is provided by the original 4.3-liter M113 V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. A full service in 2021 included a complete fluid flush, all new filters, a new crank position sensor, and a new fuel pump regulator. More recently, the valve cover gaskets were replaced along with new spark plugs and wires, a new AGM battery, front wheel bearings, a coolant flush, transmission service, and rear diff fluid flush. Features include xenon headlights, 17" AMG monoblock wheels, AMG body work, Brembo brakes with stainless steel brake lines, and H&R springs. This W202 AMG is now offered by the owner with two key fobs, a recent Carfax report and a clean Florida title.
This W202 is fitted with an AMG-specific body kit including both bumpers and side skirts along with an AMG-stamped dual exhaust outlet. In the mid 2010’s this C43 AMG received a complete repaint including the door jams and trunk lining. Per the decoded VIN, the original color was Brilliant Silver (744). The seller reports the body remains rust and corrosion free. Additional features include a sunroof, fog lights, tinted windows, clear front marker lights and a painted trunk lip spoiler.
The staggered 17” AMG Aero II wheels were previously refinished and the seller notes the front passenger wheel shows some minor curb rash. Aftermarket Brembo brakes have been added to all four corners along with stainless steel brake lines and H&R springs for improved handling and stance.
The interior is upholstered in Anthracite (581) AMG-Exclusive Nappa leather and accented by burl wood veneers on the dash, center console, and doors. Interior equipment includes heated orthopedic front seats, an aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth, automatic climate control, and a factory power sunroof. The seller notes the leather trim on the drivers door handle is slightly lifting. The original floor mats are installed with "C43 AMG" embossing.
The 4.3-liter M113 V8 produced 302 horsepower and 302 lb-ft of torque from the factory and is paired with a five-speed 722.6 automatic transmission.
The included Carfax shows linear mileage updates along with one minor to moderate damage in 2015. This W202 AMG is now offered by the owner with two key fobs, a recent Carfax report and a clean Florida title.

i had in nz an c249 sport tge tear 2000 model it ran to 780,000 only one cylinder was not functioning it must've been a hidden gremlin that stopped the car reaching a million kilometres the beautiful dash in white was brilliant easy to view this is an inexpensive buy it should've gibe fir much more
Based on the VIN number, the engine number is: 113944 60 008349 and the transmission number is: 722631 01 521373. You can check for the numbers on the left side of the transmission, just above the oil pan, on the side of the actual transmission case there should be a rectangle area which has on it the stamped numbers. The numbers for the engine are harder to see because they're stamped on the engine block right at the rear top of the edge where it mates with the transmission.

@Dunlopilo If someone can help me point out identifying information regarding the originality of the transmission I will provide photos or serial numbers of, from the transmission. Although the transmission fluid has been changed twice, the carfax shows in 2013 at 111k miles it was drained and replaced by Mercedes Benz.
Could you please confirm that the transmission is still the original one, BUT that you have performed AT LEAST one transmission fluid flush? Thx in advance.

Were the original corner markers removed and clear ones added? Picture 57 shows the original equipment. Do you have the original corner marker lights?
Can't agree more with the MB Market insights. Having owned one myself, among more than a dozen other MBs of the same era, there's a lot to like about the important W202 series of AMGs. They are quite easy to live with, and relatively dependable, in daily use.
