This 2000 Mercedes-Benz E430 Sport was purchased new in California where it’s remained since. The current owner purchased this E430 in 2002 with 27k miles noted and added approximately 55k miles under their ownership. They’ve kept the car in a climate controlled garage and added approximately 55k miles. Finished in Black (040) over Anthracite Leather (211), power comes from a 4.3-liter M113 V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Features include the Sport package, automatic climate control, a glass sunroof, factory COMAND, a rear rollerblind, and aftermarket directional wheels. The included Carfax shows 16 service history records and the seller is including all records since 2000. The seller replaced the battery in December of 2025. Showing an original 82k miles this E430 is now offered by the current owner and seller in Lake Forest, California with factory literature, service records since new, the original window sticker, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in Black (040) and features factory AMG body work including sculpted bumpers and side skirts. Additional features include halogen headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, factory blue-tinted glass, and a power sunroof. The car is free from any corrosion and close-up images of the exterior are provided in the photo gallery below. The seller notes the rear bumper insert has been repainted and an accident was reported between 2004 and 2005 with little information given.
Aftermarket 17″ wheels are finished in silver paint and wear Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 235/45 on all four corners. A spare wheel is located under the trunk floor along with the factory tool roll. 2017 date codes are noted for each tire.
The interior features Anthracite Leather (211) seating surfaces and burl wood trim on the center console, dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels. Amenities include automatic climate control, factory COMAND, cruise control, power seats, and electrically adjustable side mirrors. Original velour floor mats are shown for each floor board.
The leather and wood-wrapped multi-function steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates just under 82k miles and some pixels are missing for the digital ambient temperature gauge and clock.
The naturally aspirated 4.3-liter M113 V8 produced 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. The included Carfax shows 16 service history records and the seller is including all records since 2000. The seller replaced the battery in December of 2025. Additional underbody photos can be viewed in the gallery.
The included Carfax report shows linear mileage updates since new. This E430 is now offered by the current owner and seller in Lake Forest, California with factory literature, service records since new, the original window sticker, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.

@thebestornothing if you are in a situation where you need more than one week we can figure something out!@thebestornothing yes we can hold it for a maximum of one week and we work with a transport company that does open or enclosed transport across the US. We are happy to connect you with them but will not cover transport.@autoaddictionoc, thank you! Lastly, are you able to hold the car for a week or two upon the end of the auction? Also, are you able to accommodate shipping by chance?A video has been added to the listing.@thebestornothing i will have the videos up shortly of the cold start, driving, and electronics. Waiting for them to upload.@thebestornothing Yes we are a car storage facility and restoration facility, the owner reached out to us to help with the sale, it is still a private sale, we are not a dealer, feel free to browse our website. autoaddictionoc.com@autoaddictionoc, just to clarify, is this your personal vehicle? Your username (autoaddictionoc) seems to be a car storage/repair facility in the area, that’s why I was confused as the listing states private sale?@Aceking11 You are correct it says 2000 on the title as well.Window sticker shows it’s 2000 as I had my doubts when I saw the shifter handleYes it was on marketplace, and absolutely i’m not sure on how to send them on the MB.Also, would it be possible to get some cold start, driving and functioning of the electronics videos? Thank you!Nice W210! Wasn't this on Facebook Marketplace for a while? I recognized the aftermarket wheels.$2,000 bid placed by @Danny88
@skarthur yes that is correct it reclines from the saved settings which means nothing is wrong with the seat motor but something is going on with the control on the door, really is nothing major, as far as the oil it’s hard to tell it could be the oil pan but it’s not wet on the pan there is just some grime from over the years, yes the accident was reported on the carfax in 2004, it got bumped in the rear resulting in a minor scuff on the bumper insert, the bumper did not get damaged or replaced, only the black insert got refinished and we have the invoice to that getting fixed. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks for the thoughtful response, a few follow up questions: Regarding the seat controls, am I correct in interpreting your statements to mean that the driver's seat cannot currently recline except by engaging settings stored in memory? I would be unable to recline it to the desired position by using the seat back control? Regarding the minor leaks you mentioned, where are those coming from? Rear main seal? Transmission? Somewhere else? Lastly, I'm confused about the accident. You've owned it since 2002, the accident occurred around 2004, but you don't know how it happened? Am I missing something? Thanks again.$1,357 bid placed by @Lfuselier
I absolutely love these! My dad bought his black/black E430 Sport in 2005 to replace his E420 and still owns it today! It's up to 190k miles now and has been the best car he's ever owned. I remember he let me take it to prom when I was a kid and from that point on I was a W210 guy. Smooth, quick, reliable, comfortable, and easy to maintain. I'd install a set of 18" monoblocks and drive it every day!$1,000 bid placed by @ArmyGuy63
@ArmyGuy63 Sounds amazingBack in the day, I had an '01 W210 E430 AMG. What a great chassis this is. Bulletproof!!! Currently I'm in a '91 W124 300D that's been LS1 swapped with a 4L60E trans & Dakota Digital gages.@skarthur I've never noticed any dead pixels on the displays and I don't see any pixels out in the pictures. Yes the headliner is sagging as it is the original headliner which is super common on most Mercedes, all electronics work including the climate control (AC Blows Ice Cold). Sunroof and rear sunshade, locks, windows, mirror controls, and all seat controls work apart from when you try and recline the driver seat it reclines forward instead of backwards, likely just a switch in the door as the motor still operates and when you press the preset seat position it will recline back. Yes owned since 2002 and no recent alignment sheets but the car drives perfect down the road, does not pull to the left or right and steering wheel is straight, the suspension itself feels great on the road as it always has, no squeaks or odd noises. And there is no play in the steering. Shifts with ease and motor runs very smooth. There has only been one accident and it was very minor as listed in the Carfax, it states exactly "Police accident reports are required in California when the estimated damage exceeds $750. The date of this particular accident was not reported to CARFAX, but it likely occurred between March 2004 and March 2005." The bumper insert with the chrome trim was repainted and I have the invoice for that. All documentation will come with the car we have everything dating back to when the car was bought brand new, there is a lot of paperwork as you can see. There are no excessive leaks but as it is a 2001 car it has accumulated a little, nothing to be concerned of. Does not leave any drips on the ground.Great looking car. I'm not usually a huge fan of black on black but it sure works here. Some questions: The description doesn't make mention of many known flaws, aside from the dead pixels in the dash display. I did notice the photos in the gallery showing the sagging headliner. Do all the electronics work as intended, especially climate control, sunroof, rear sunshade, seat and mirror controls, locks, and windows? There are some scrambled sentences in the listing but it looks like you've owned the car since 2002? Do you have some recent alignment spec sheets that show how straight the suspension is? Maybe you can also share some additional details about the two accidents in 2004 and 2005 mentioned in the listing? As a long term owner, how is the suspension holding up in terms of firmness, and handling? Any play in the wheels, or excessive bounce/softness? How does the car feel compared to when you bought it, and what work if any has been done on the suspension? Any leaks, especially around the front and/or rear main seals, transmission, or differential? I see a rather large stack of service records in the gallery, I'd love to see what the individual services were - any chance of uploading them individually? Less important and unlikely, but do you still have the original wheels? If not, thembmarket always has cool original wheels up for auction, so I know where to look for replacements. Sorry if that felt like a barrage of questions, love these cars and have wanted one for a while, just seeing if this one checks the boxes. Thanks, and good luck with the auction!@Kevinbriem I appreciate your input, it is a beautiful car.Seeing this makes me question selling my 99 sport. The facelift version here has a subtly more sophisticated look. Black on black gives it an AMG look as well. Rims aren't my favorite, but certainly not a deal breaker. Might take a lot of restraint to not get involved here. Beautiful car.
