The body is finished in Iridium Silver Metallic (775) and features an electrohydraulic insulated soft top with a heated glass rear pane. AMG body styling consists of a sculpted front air dam with mesh intakes, side skirts, rear apron, trunk lid spoiler and dual polished chrome AMG exhaust tips. Exterior features include Bi-Xenon headlamps and front fog lamps with Active Curve Illumination, rain-sensing wipers, a mesh air deflector, and heated power-adjustable door mirrors with an auto-dimming driver side. This A209 is powered by a hand-built 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 which produces 475 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG SpeedShift seven-speed automatic transmission which can be controlled via aluminum paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel.
