This 2013 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG was prepared for delivery by Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue and first registered in Washington in September 2012. Finished in designo Mystic Blue (032) over designo Porcelain Leather (X27), power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 paired with a five-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes carbon-fiber interior trim, Bang & Olufsen audio, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, rear entertainment, Distronic Plus, Night View Assist, and Active Body Control suspension (ABC). The selling dealer acquired the car approximately one month ago and has added 1,500 of the 19,875 miles shown. Preparation for sale included an inspection, an oil and filter change, a differential fluid change, and replacement of the right rear seat pneumatics. This S65 AMG is now offered by the selling dealer in Darien, Wisconsin with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, designo floor mats, tools, entertainment headphones and a remote, a Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in designo Mystic Blue (032) and features AMG bumper covers and side skirts, a rear lip spoiler, quad exhaust outlets, and V12 Biturbo fender badges. Exterior equipment includes bi-xenon headlamps with active curve illumination and washers, LED daytime running lights, a panoramic glass sunroof, power-folding mirrors, parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a power-operated trunk lid. Window tint installation is documented on the Carfax in October 2012. PPF is noted to cover the hood and front bumper. The selling dealer reports no paintwork, modifications, or exterior flaws beyond a few imperfections in the PPF.
Factory 20-inch AMG twin five-spoke forged wheels measure 8.5 inches wide up front and 9.5 inches wide in the rear. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires measure 255/35 up front and 275/35 in the rear and carry 2019 date codes. Braking is provided by AMG calipers over perforated and ventilated discs at all four corners. The car features AMG-calibrated Active Body Control hydraulic suspension, which the dealer reports to be functioning properly.
The cabin is upholstered in designo Porcelain Leather (X27) with diamond-quilted seat inserts and door panels, contrasting black upper surfaces and carpets, and an anthracite designo Alcantara headliner. High-gloss carbon-fiber trim accents the dashboard, doors, and center console. Amenities include heated and ventilated front and rear seats, front dynamic multicontour seats, power-adjustable multicontour rear seats with memory, four-zone climate control, and power rear window and rear door sunshades. Additional equipment includes Bang & Olufsen audio, COMAND with navigation, dual rear entertainment screens, Keyless-Go, and soft-close doors. The right rear seat pneumatics were replaced in preparation for sale, and the dealer reports all equipment to be operational.
The heated multifunction steering wheel features leather and contrasting gloss trim, shift paddles, and a power-adjustable steering column. AMG instrumentation includes a central digital 220-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. Additional readouts provide outside temperature, trip information, and vehicle status, while Night View Assist can display an infrared view of the road ahead. Driver assistance equipment includes Distronic Plus, Active Blind Spot Assist, and Active Lane Keeping Assist. The digital odometer shows 19,875 miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The hand-assembled, twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter M275 V12 was factory rated at 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission. The selling dealer reports that an inspection, an engine oil and filter change, and a differential fluid change were performed in preparation for sale. The Carfax documents service visits at Mercedes-Benz of Bellevue and Mercedes-Benz of Naples, including oil changes, inspections, and diagnostic checks. Separate service receipts are not included, and the dealer reports no current mechanical issues.
The Carfax report lists one owner, 18 service history records, and no reported accidents or damage. Mercedes-Benz reacquired the vehicle in June 2013 for an “engine rough running concern,” and California reported a manufacturer buyback/lemon designation in October 2013. No additional documentation concerning the buyback or the corrective repairs is available. The report includes Washington and California title history, along with subsequent service entries in Florida. Two keys, manufacturer’s literature, floor mats, tools, entertainment headphones, and a remote accompany the sale.

There are S65s, and then there are S65s...someone took the time to order this-no forgotten options, no settling for a different paint, just an order unique enough to make us pay a little more attention. Mystic Blue over Porcelain leather is a spectacular combination, with carbon fiber adding just the right amount of AMG character to an otherwise lavish cabin. The Bang & Olufsen system and front and rear entertainment packages round out a specification that rewards looking beyond the V12 badges. We’d happily spend an afternoon studying this order sheet. Of course, the real occasion starts under the hood. A twin-turbocharged V12 with 738 lb-ft of torque in a full-size Mercedes sedan remains a wonderfully excessive proposition, and this final-year W221 wears that role particularly well. The manufacturer buyback history is documented and deserves consideration, the dealer reports no current issues after adding around 1,500 miles. With fewer than 20k miles shown, recent service, and a color combination this memorable, this is an S65 we’d find very difficult to replace in a saved search. For the buyer who cares as much about the specification as the badge, this one warrants a serious look.

$15,000 bid placed by @Louisvert
absolutely stunning color combination! i had an s550 in the designo mystic blue and then an s65 with designo red interior. i had always wished that i could find an s65 in the mystic blue with either designo interior i had on my s550 or s65. this particular designo interior is neither of those but still fantastic in its own right! @seller do all of the active and multicontour seat functions work across all 4 corners? that would be the active/dynamic functions of the front seats and the multicontour of the rear. do all 4 seats have the massage feature, and does it work on all 4? i see that the right rear seat pneumatics were replaced but what does that mean? pump, bladder, lines, or something else? any operating issues with the vehicle currently due to the lemon/buyback activity? i see you have put some miles on this one in the past month! did you drive it back from somewhere or just a decent road trip? right rear seat pneumatics$5,000 bid placed by @ProdigalPetrolHead
