This Mercedes-Benz glass panoramic removable hardtop is finished in Emerald Green Metallic (269) and was built for use on 1990-2002 R129 series cars of the era. The top features a steel frame, a glass panoramic roof with a retractable sunshade, glass windows, and Beige vinyl trim. This R129 SL hardtop is now offered from the seller in Los Angeles, California.
The top is finished in Emerald Green Metallic (269) and features a panoramic glass roof and glass windows with painted steel bodywork along the frame. The original Mercedes-Benz etchings from the factory are present on the side windows and visible in the gallery below.
The interior of the top features a retractable sunshade and grab handles on both the driver and passenger sides. The sunshade operates smoothly and extends/retracts as designed without issue.
The non-glass interior surfaces are trimmed in Beige vinyl and present in good condition with no separation from the frame. Additional photos showing the condition of the interior surfaces are provided in the gallery. The top has been tested and all latch points operate correctly when mated with an R129 chassis vehicle. Rubber and felt trim points appear in good condition with no major deterioration or obvious wear.

@CICBarkeep Thank you
@Mr_Benz you are right it does add valve to my R129 it feels so nice when you are inside the cabin.
Says 1990 - 2002, but buyer beware. This wont be a straight fit for pre 94 cars that dont have the auto drop window feature. The channeled seals on a pano (introduced for MY96 onwards) will need to be carefully removed and early seals from an 89-93 top fitted. To buy new early seals from MB (if even still available) allow another $500 per side.....

Keep the top adds great value to your current r129 your going to wish you never sold it later Good luck!
@AMGMB Forgot to mention. Really sharp example!! Good luck with the pano sale.
@AMGMB Thanks for confirming. Really tempting considering most are grey but patience is a virtue. Or so they say.
@mfagone777 I am selling because only drive the car as a convertible
@CICBarkeep The original interior color is Beige (265A)
Hey guys, the reason for selling the hard top is because only drive the car as a convertible
@ProdigalPetrolHead My 2001 is shown as Java (234) but looks very, very close.
Just curious, why are you selling?
Looks like Beige (265) @CICBarkeep
Any idea what the interior color code of the original car was?
@Bad_Idea_Dante These are actually super easy to color change with vinyl wrap. Thats the most economical way to do it. Literally just the two panels on the sides. Probably a couple hundred bucks at most.
Does anyone in the community have a rough estimate of what it costs to repaint this in a different color?
This is the exterior color of my R129, though my interior is darker. Still... oh man.
