Can you turn the wheel al the way to one side and then take a picture of the spring and shock? Thanks
This car is drop dead gorgeous!!!!! "AMG" should not be in first line of ad but its their site and can ufo as they wish although in my opinion it seriously hurts their credibility. Running the car through a 2nd time will show if it was a one off with 2 people who wanted the car or if it is really a blue chip investment car as now we need a 3rd person to bid. Beautiful car but don't understand why not just list it for what it is and leave all the BS out of it. Good luck!!!!
When were Renntech mods done? Is dyno sheet from actual car or? Thanks what a monster!!
Seller owes nobody any explanation as to why they are reselling. You don't want the car do to that reason move on but getting into how the other bidder would have wanted the car??? Come on. I have zero issue with pointing out past auction as its public. getting back to the facts the lack of supporting info or bidders view of the TMU is what hurt last auctions final sale price. Beautiful car and they are getting rarer with low miles.
This 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEL AMG has been a California car since new In recent years the value of ‘pre-merger’ AMG cars have begun to soar. As these cars continue to grab the spotlight at auctions and private sales alike, the values only seem to be rising. This example is even more interesting Sorry but there is no way anyone reading the above and not walking away thinking you were presenting a Pre Merger AMG car. "THIS EXAMPLE" Read YOUR AD?? Great site and I was simply asking an obvious question that I tried asking directly but got no response and the seller knows why. This idea you would destroy credibility is insane. Its called IMPLIED. Why destroy trust on a site known for selling real significant AMG cars? Do as you wish your site but not a good look an day the below comment thats obvious. Its why most of us are here. To the seller you have a insane looking 560sel that has AMG parts and its should bring all the money but you don't want someone thinking they are getting something they aren't. WOW! WOW!
Is this a pre merger AMG? If no docs or even part themselves materials to support when spoiler kit installed isn't this is a very nice 560SEL not an AMG 560SEL? Body kits are reproduced with part numbers on them as are gauges. It states in ad "installed by AMG" Who? where? when? That makes a big difference in price vs installed by a body shop in LA?? I also asked about body kit material and got no answer. beautiful example of a 560sel
When was AMG conversion done and where? Beautiful car just determining of it s a cool 560 or a investment pre merger AMG. Great car either way.
Whenever I see these early cars I think what happened to Barry Taylors stash up N in CA??? He would swear all was for sale and then balk on selling anything. I left with a $35 AMG parts book. That was 25 years ago.
Will it fit a wagon?
Great buy send its back to Renntech and you will have a nice piece of history. I Have owned many Renntech cars and this was when they were at their best.
Why is bidding going up and down?
Orig paint is so over talked about. Years ago when paint technology didnt match OEM it was a huge deal as there were failures and issues. With todays tech it is nearly impossible to detect painted panels and the quality and durability matches that of OEM so it is a non issue especially in a non high end collector car. One could always play with paint removal and film levels to have an undetectable mill level and finish. Paint condition is more important than originality here. Beauty!!
About 15-18 years ago there was a gray one for sale in CT at a Benz dealer. They had limited info on the car besides it was a wealthy clients car. I was unsure and bought a supercharged Dinan 7 series instead. Always thought about that car and it sold cheap as the dealer didnt want it there a sit was modified. Started my long love affair with Renntech cars. Wish they did full builds like that today.
