Excuse error, should be lien released, not licensse released..I I have it it my possession. Sorry !
Plesse5 note that GA d55not actually have zga tite most ga cars from MB thar are leased or fianced from MB have a TX title with a GA reassignment form which is the case here. It is in my possession with the license released, the case Here. As far as passing any emissions, remember that the Renntech box s can be reset to OE or even removed. You can call RT in Florida to confirm. Takes about 2 minutes to remove. Hope that helps u. Fabulous piece of kit9...as it should be for$ 2,500!
Don't know why I'm having so much trouble with this listing but briefly has sport wheel blind spot but no heated steering wheel manuals, spare keys Carfax shows very minor isue on My watch, immaculate. Good luck guys...into the last hour-ish..I am in the office and by the phone at 478.743.7322, or glad to answer your questions here. Really nice car, I drove it or a bit yesterday. Tight and straight, AC is cold and all electronics work properly. Don't for get to look at the records,, she has two keys, original manuals and books, both top handles, and 2 data plates. Thanks again!
Hi guys, Allen, seller here. Let me answer the most recent question first_yes the AC is cold and in the right direction, no vacuum leaks. It's like most 107's....it take a little bit to cool down, but does a good job once it has a had a chance to run for a few minutes. I will do my best to answer your questions with full disclosure and total accuracy. You are also welcome to talk to my tech with a little prior arrangement. A really nice 107 SL with excellent records, tracks and feels good on the road, fully sorted and all the electrics work. If there is an area you'd like to see more of, let me know and I'll do my best to get you more pictures. A real treat to drive, MBCA member, past MBCA and PCA region President, 40 years in business this year--I play by the Golden Rule. Good luck bidding!
Let me see if I can decipher some of this. As you know, Carfax is a good tool, but they do often make errors. The only thing on the car that had been touched, prior to the altercation with the deer, was an area on the front bumper cover that the trucker damaged when he brought it to me. I was insistent about them paying me for it, and they did. That's probably what triggered the CFax report. It appeared to have caught a rail on the trailer, and scuffed up the bottom. I eventually bought another front bumper cover, as you know, they are tough to repair. This seems to add up as it is about the time that I bought the car (although the timing is a bit off, typical of Carfax/or reporting truckers). The car makes a superb appearance on every panel, texture, fit, and finish are all beautiful--and I am super critical. I am a 40 year MB geek, twice President of our local MBCA and Porsche clubs, and a concours participant and judge for many years. I think you will find it tough to find one in this condition, with these great miles, and tons of service history. There are plenty of ordinary ones out there--but not like this. Check me out on Google reviews and my ebay feedback. I am "encoremotors". Thanks for looking, good luck bidding..
T Prinzer, I do not have the original wheels, sorry. Fabulous car, thanks for looking...
Hey, Allen (Seller) here....yes it is a beautiful and rare combo, especially when looking at the interior with the piano panels and the Carbon trim... Very, very few out there with this equipment, colors, history, and miles...if you want a 212 63S....take a close look! Let me know, I will answer your questions ASAP...
Hi everyone....Allen (seller here)... As we get down to the end, I'll be paying close attention to any questions you may have. I am a 40 year Benz geek, concours participant and judge. I have to say, I have looked high and low, but I still cannot find a flaw on this car. Not a scratch, ding, curb mark, anything--and I am super particular. It also just had an annual service and checkover at our local Benz dealer. This car is so much fun to drive with this motor and the 9 speed shiftable tranny. It has the factory switchable sport muffler, and makes beautiful sounds that we will not be able to hear for much longer. If you want to loaf around with that big torquey V8, then great--or if you want to shut down others, it can sure do it! Pulling thru the rev range and clicking off the cogs--yeah, fun! I am in business 40 years and play by the Golden Rule. It's parked on my indoor showroom ready to go. I sure hope someone who will enjoy it wins it I would have kept it for myself, but we have stepped us out on a new house that limits my toys! Thanks again, good luck in the bidding...
Congrats to the new owner. You are going to have a great time....
Jackdaddy, Georgia does not require us to collect tax from non-resident buyers. The only thing I could charge you for would be a temporary plate (e.g., you want to drive it home). I believe that is $7. We can only collect tax from those with a GA residence/driver's license. You just sign a form and let us copy your out of State(or Country driver's license). What is required in your State or jurisdiction is out of our hands. Hope that clarifies...
I don't know why that is, mackdadae. I am a micro sized dealer in Central GA, 2nd generation MB geek. Mbca member and past President of our region. 40 years in business with deep references, let me know if you need some.. Yes. Faster than the previous AMG car. Mountains of torque, so nice to drive. No replacement for displacement ! Good luck everyone..
A few of you have tried to ask me questions, but remember you must login here to get a direct response, or get your question on the auction page. Happy to do my best to answer. Don't miss a beautiful car because you lack information! Good luck to you all...
HI everyone, thanks for your interest. A couple of you have asked for a full on driver's seat picture, and I have no idea how I missed that. I have taken several, and will get them up ASAP. Just FYI, it is in super shape everywhere, front, rear and entry exit...the pictures will reflect that. Thanks again for looking.
Hi guys. Seller here..just wanna clarify one thing. Both seat belt arms DO work properly. I was trying to get the video straight and ended up in the wrong position... Admin, could we make that correction and lose that video? Thanks. This is a ton of car for the money and great fun to drive with almost 400hp! Let me know if I can answer questions for you..
Hi Everyone, we are near the finish line. I will be by my computer and will do my best to provide you with honest and accurate answers. It is a beautiful honest car, and a knowledgeable and experienced seller, nearly 40 years in business. . Good luck bidding on a beautiful SL!
Yes, please note pix #110-114, and the notes with the post. The top has a new headliner as you can see, and the exterior of it is darn near perfect. Thanks for looking, beautiful honest car....
I should add that the three recent hydrolocks are not the only ones replaced. Others were done prior to my ownership, but I need to search for a receipt. In any event, it works smoothly and without issue or leaks. Also, I believe I installed a new Bosch battery right after purchase. Again, I will check. Thanks..
Thanks to everyone who is looking. My name is Allen and I am your seller. 40 years in business this year, I'm in my early 60s and a 3rd generation Benz geek. I am a concours judge and winner and know right from wrong. I've been buying and selling cars long distance since well before the popularity of the internet. Happy to provide references for you too. Good luck bidding and let me know if I can answer more questions.
Pix # 110 thru 114 are all of the hardtop. Yes, they are the underside, just show that the liner is new and the vinyl trim is very near perfect. I also showed the connector as so many of them are broken. The exterior finish is easily a 9 to a 9.8, paint is beautiful and clean, so is glass. Thanks for looking, beautiful. honest car.
Is the car curretnly in the LA area? Any info on original evaporator, recent tranny service, paper records? Thanks..
Just to fill in, from an old timer... In those days, remember that they had an upholstery shop on the property. It was up in the front, on the left side, as you looked at the door. Super high quality work. They eventually moved on, and of course they moved the RT shop too. Back then, that was one of the few places who could make those steering wheels, and they were beautiful . Once the Supercharged cars came along , it became more of a bolt on business than before. I remember Bob telling me that the Supercharged cars was one of the best things that happened to them. Ah, those were the days....
Maybe I haven't seen it, but could we see the area surrounding the trunk opening button, and the sunroof, opening in detail, and the wings (fenders)? As you know these cars are notorious for rusting in those areas. Also, are there any manuals or paper records ? Thanks...
