Can you please post a pic of the Amg Japan vin plaque in the drivers side door sill? I have a 91 500SL 6.0 AMG from Japan and I know for a fact it should have one there.

I don’t wanna be a party pooper. It’s a beautiful car. But I don’t see any pictures of the title or anything saying that it’s a 6.0 amg. All I see is service records. There isn’t even the amg stickers that are usually on these. I already bought a 91 6.0 amg from this website just a few months ago and I would be a serious player on this if more evidence is provided. Thank you.

Dayum! You all went reckless on the bidding with this one. There’s still 9 days left. I get it though, it’s a guaranteed blue chip and it doesn’t matter long term.
I understand that everybody is a little annoyed that the 6.0L status of the car wasn’t tested. I must say though that @slammer500 took a huge risk himself when he imported this car from Japan without having a stroke test done on it. And there are countless other stories of other people buying pre mergers without knowing 100% if the engine checks out. Sometimes you roll the dice and you end up with a gem. This car looks too legit, in my mind I have no doubt of its legitimacy. Since @slammer500 rolled the dice himself many years ago, I think its not too crazy for me to do the same. Let’s all be positive and enjoy the unpredictability of the pre merger game.
