@KingKitty, thanks for the info. Yes there are a lot of comments on the 500E board for this. Took me a while to find but just using the VIN made it easy. Thanks again.
Seems a bit of a patchwork and while original parts are included I am not sure how much work to remove spoilers and rewoak paint. But for bombing around to see Mercedes friends it would be a nice example. Now big question... There seem a lot of incidences. Any rust at all? Bubles ? Does it pull on brakes/cruising? We know this will be less a collector but more to joy to drive an 80's design supercar that actually let's you bring a friend or two.
Strange, have bid and as per Seller messaged him to check for pricing on shipping... no response after a couple messages. I guess I am stopping to bid as I don't like surprises.
Nice looking wheels!! While not in the league of of OZ or BBS they will certainly add a nice look to period correct car. I purchase very similar ones on eBay and test fitting is important. I got the right offset but if you look at the back clearance design mine ev with 25 offset would touch the caliper on an R129. But while some would fraun on spacers it does the job when it's not autobahn or track duty. I will take a chance again and just deal with it. Nice!
