@rotationalweight Wipers work, relatively new blades, heat will make you sweat (it does turn off though, monovalve in good working order), AC components are present, just not working. I can help advise what hoses and fittings are needed to make it work.
WIndshield wipers work? Heat? Any A/C components present, whether working or not?
@rotationalweight frame rails are great, any corrosion on them is from jacking it up in a past life and scraping off some undercoat. There is a small hole in the picture mentioned, but the peeling undercoat makes it appear more drastic than it is. I don’t recall what cruising RPM is at freeway speeds, but it’s the same driveline as a w126 so that should be the same as that. I am not sure on maintenance on the m117. It’s very healthy, I’ve peaked at the cams and the chain and they seem to be in good shape. Old cars always ask for something to be fixed, right now it’s pretty content. Some better speakers would be on the list and a cruise amp

Corrosion on passenger side frame rails mentioned in the description, Is that rot through the floor in image in image 84? Or just undercoat peeling back? What is highway cruising speed/rpm with the 2.47? Any known maintenance on the engine before the swap? Timing chains or guides or anything of that nature? Aside from the windshield, if you were keeping it, what needs to be addressed next?

@rotationalweight I sure would hop in it and go a thousand miles, just fill it up. It is a factory black on black car.
Any mechanicals that need addressed immediately? Would you drive it 1000 miles tomorrow? This is a factory black/black car?

@StudioDude I am pretty sure they are just regular ole MB Tex. I will have the description updated, I didn’t notice it said leather.
Were the seats recovered? From photos seems like MB Tex, not leather.
@burden This car was originally from Nashville Tennessee where it lived there since I think 1991 per the old title. So the rust you see isn’t perforated and even the battery tray itself is still intact. Normally the seams on the inner fenders of these will rust in michigan, but this one is very solid. The body I can’t argue with, but it makes for a fun car nonetheless and you don’t have to worry about much while enjoying it on the road!
Interesting hotrod. Too bad tired body needs lot of work to remove rust and new paint. Engine bay rusty inner fenders look worrisome. Especially battery mount and coolant tank area.. That’ll be nice restoration project for right person.

Howdy seller! I remember seeing this one a few months back! Do you recall how many miles are on the driveline? Thanks
