This 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet was initially sold and registered in California with the initial sale date logged as December 7th, 1993. It remained with the first owner in Sacramento through 2022 when it was acquired by the current owner and seller, who remains an MBCA member and MB enthusiast. It’s received thorough, documented service from new and shows 74k original miles. Finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) over Black Leather (261), power is provided by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Equipment includes power-adjustable front seats with memory, a power-operated black soft top, power mirrors, cruise control, a driver and passenger airbag, central locking, a 6-disc CD changer, and a factory Becker head unit that’s been refurbished and fitted with Bluetooth connectivity. The included Carfax report shows 25 service hits and no accident damage. Most notably, the wiring harness was replaced with an updated unit under the first owner’s care. Additionally, the seller notes that all records from the first owner are kept and included in the sale. Most recently, an A-service was performed in addition to a new valve cover gasket, new spark plugs, a rebuild of the lower engine harness to complete the harness replacement, a new Hirschmann antenna, and a new exterior trunk handle. This E320 Cabriolet is now offered for sale by the current owner in California with two keys, factory literature, tool kit, a clean Carfax report, service records, and a clean California title.
The exterior is finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) with Gray lower body cladding and a chrome belt line. Features include a hydraulically-operated black fabric soft top with an electrically heated rear window. Exterior equipment including headlamp wiper/washers, central locking, a new automatic Hirschmann antenna, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors, and a pop-up leather wrapped roll bar. The seller has included detailed photos of the exterior in the gallery and in 2023 a 4-year ceramic coating was applied to the paint professionally.
This example is mounted with chrome 15” 8-hole OEM wheels shown in fantastic condition. While the photos show Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires, the seller has replaced them with new Michelin Defender tires in preparation for the sale. The new tires measure 195/65 at all four corners. The A124 came standard with ABS and a full-size spare in the trunk.
The cabin is upholstered in Black Leather (261) and features matching black carpets and Burl Walnut wood trim which lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. The wood shows well with little to no UV damage and no cracks in the veneer. Both front seats are power operated with memory and show light wear. Interior appointments include automatic climate control, functional cruise control, a passenger and driver airbag, functional automatic seat belt presenters, a 6-disc CD changer, and a factory head unit which has been rebuilt by Becker and has integrated Bluetooth. Detailed photos of the cabin are available in the gallery.
The four spoke steering wheel frames analog instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. A digital outside temperature sensor can be found mounted below. The six-digit odometer shows just over 74k miles from new. The telescoping steering wheel functions as intended.
This A124 is powered by a 3.2-liter DOHC inline-six which produces 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The included Carfax report shows 25 service hits and no accident damage. Most notably, the wiring harness was replaced with an updated unit under the first owner’s care. Additionally, the seller notes that all records from the first owner are kept and included in the sale. In these records, an updated head gasket is noted to have been installed in 1998. Most recently, an A-service was performed in addition to a new valve cover gasket, new spark plugs, a rebuild of the lower engine harness to complete the harness replacement, a new Hirschmann antenna, and a new exterior trunk handle. Undersides detail no corrosion and the engine bay photos show clean, dark plastics, lots of original cosmoline, and cadmium plated hardware.
Additionally, the Carfax report shows a history free from accidents or damage and lists linear mileage updates from new. This E320 Cabriolet is now offered for sale by the current owner in California with two keys, factory literature, tool kit, a clean Carfax report, service records, and a clean California title.

@AugustoSiqueira Good Day, and thank you for looking at our APE. The custom fit Velour dash cover is over a PERFECT original dah lining. APE is and has always been garaged but we do everything possible to prevent dun damage here in California. As you will notice all the vent control sliders are also in perfect and functioning condition as we avoid the sun. All the trim on the dash and windshield is excellent and whatever was cracking or "gummy" from top down exposure we replaced using original replacements from classictrimparts.comRegarding the velour dash cover, is there any cracks on the original dash lining? Can I simply take it out or it is glued ?R129hoarder the Donkster License plate was on my 2000 Designo Slate Blue 129@Donkster Love the name!Although not mentioned in the write up description APE00I also has a custom velour dash cover, fitted Coco Mats for the front and also a fitted CoverCraft all weather cover that go to the buyer. As the bidding on our cabriolet moves into the final days we want to be sure to thank Eden Hitzke, edenhitzke.com for his spectacular photos and video of our APE00I. Aside from being a genuinely kind young man his talent for creating images that capture the design and colors of cars is beyond his years. A joy to know and work with.$7,500 bid placed by @David90

95Cab If you haven't yet discovered classictrimparts.com is spectacular. Another great resource for 124s and a really great fellow and story. Thanks and great backstory! Mine is 95 black on black too! GLWTA!Lovely looking lady, no doubt!"I flew to Sacramento, inspected her carefully, and told the seller she was going to a forever home. That was the plan. Life has other ideas. APE00I is a 1994 Mercedes-Benz E320 Cabriolet — one owner from new, always California, meticulously kept. She came to us as a replacement for a 1995 one owner Ice Blue Metallic cabriolet lost to an engine fire. She earned her name from the iconic Planet of the Apes image that served as the logo of our sons’ companies. Our family has owned eighteen W124s since 1986 — every body style and engine configuration including a diesel all the way to a 1993 500E. We know what a good 124 looks like and how it feels. APE00I joined us as an exceptional one. She received a complete refresh — not a restoration, but a return. Every system addressed, every detail brought back to the standard of the day she left the factory. She was Silver Star Certified and shown at Legends of the Autobahn in 2023, where we gathered to honor Bruno Sacco on his 90th birthday. I am a 124 FAN-ATIC. Mechanical perfection first, cosmetics second. She is honest, meticulous, documented, and ready for her next forever."Good Afternoon 95 Cab! By your moniker I can assume you are a 124 lover as we.. The hydraulic system was inspected on a lift during the the undercarriage photo shoot 10 days ago. Photos from that inspection are included in the documentation and show clean lines, no seepage at the cylinders, pump, or fittings, and no staining on the undercarriage. The system operates correctly through full cycles. Please check out the video of all the systems. I’ve owned 124’s since 1993 and have never replaced hydraulics before they have failed.$3,250 bid placed by @BD450SL
