This 2000 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic over designo two-tone Black and Blueberry leather upholstery, and power is provided by a 5.4-liter V8 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes multi-piece BRABUS wheels, xenon headlights, a glass sunroof, heated and multi-contour front seats, memory settings, cruise control, automatic climate control, a rear sunshade, and an OEM headunit with Bluetooth upgraded by Becker. The car was first registered in North Carolina and has been in South Carolina with the seller since January 2019. The seller has added 43k of the 110,800 miles on the odometer. Service records accompany the car and extensive service during prior ownership has been performed with the most recent oil, filter, and coolant flush performed in December 2023. This W210 E55 is now offered in South Carolina with factory literature, partial service records, two key FOBs, one valet key, a Carfax report and a clean South Carolina title.
The exterior is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744U) and comes fitted with an AMG body kit including sculpted front and rear bumpers, side skirts, factory rolled fenders, and twin chrome exhaust outlets. Additional features include xenon headlights, fog lights, headlight washers, power-adjustable mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, and a glass sunroof. The seller notes a minor blemish on pictured on the top of the front passenger quarter panel along with surface rust showing on the underside of both front doors. An accident noted as minor on Carfax in October 2023 required a repaint of the rear driverside quarter panel due to someone backing into it in a parking lot. Pictures of the damage are included in the gallery and the seller notes no trim pieces were replaced, nor was paint blended onto the trunk so the emblems are original.
Multi-piece 18″ BRABUS Monoblock IV wheels are wrapped in 245/40 front and 275/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires which were mounted in July 2021. New Zimmerman brake rotors and Akebono brake pads were fitted in December 2021 along with a new brake booster. A new master cylinder and brake fluid flush was performed in August 2023.
The cabin features seats upholstered in designo two-tone Black and Blueberry AMG Exclusive leather (582) along with matching door panels and head rests. Birdseye maple trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional amenities include heated and multi-contour front seats, memory settings, cruise control, automatic climate control, a power rear-window sunshade, and a Bose cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer. The factory headunit has been upgraded with Bluetooth by Becker. The seller notes minor cracks showing on corners of the dash and the headliner was replaced in November 2020. The original "E55 AMG" embroidered floor mats are fitted in each footwell.
The multifunction steering wheel is covered in two-tone blueberry leather and frames a BRABUS-branded 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer, along with gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just under 111k miles of which 43k miles have been added by the seller since 2019. The odometer shows all functioning pixels in the digital ambient temperature gauge and clock.
The naturally aspirated 5.4-liter M113 V8 produced 349 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque when new. Service records from new accompany the car and below are items addressed under the seller's care since 2019.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. The conductor plate was replaced in September 2023 along with a transmission fluid flush and new filter. The seller removed the resonator and reports very little increase to the exhaust volume. Additional underbody photos are viewable in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows linear mileage updates since new along with the aforementioned minor damage report for which photos of the damage prior to repair are provided. This E55 AMG comes with partial service records, extensive recent service, factory literature, two key FOBs, one valet key, a Carfax report and a clean South Carolina title.
Videos have been provided by the seller showing interior functions, a cold start, and driving footage.

Good afternoon, with a little over 24 hours left in the auction, I wanted to thank everyone for their interest in the auction thus far and would be glad to answer any additional questions. This car has been very well maintained and has not given me any issues during the five years of my ownership. Over the holidays, I drove the car from South Carolina to south Texas, 2,600 miles round trip without skipping a beat. Please let me know if I can be of assistance, best of luck bidding!
@124guy Thanks for the kind words!
Kudos to the seller for a very thorough and transparent listing. Appears to be a very well sorted example and that interior color is awesome!

@gldement The surface rust is shown in pictures 57 & 58, and is only present on the front doors. Once I discovered this, I removed both front door panels to evaluate the severity of the rust, and it is minimal. I do not have the AMG monoblocks with the car, the Brabus wheels are what was on the car when I purchased it.
Am I missing the pics of the rust under doors? Do you have the original monoblock wheels? Thanks!
@paulunm Correct, the resonator has been removed, but all four cats are still in place. I can put together a driving video this weekend when I've got some more time.
Looks like it has a resonator delete, but all 4 original cats are still present- correct? Can you post a driving video?

@40Khal The car has been repaired and the color match of the paint is flawless. The pictures of the damage were included so bidders will know the extent of the damage.
So does the car currently have the huge dent on the driver side rear quarter panel? Because the opening pictures shows the vehicle with no damage.

Amazing spec, love the interior, very rare. Love every corner of it
@NYCdriver Thank you!
AH, that's bizarre. Likely a miscoding in the MB system for "Premium sound". Either way, I was jumping in to say this is a VERY rare example. GLWTA
@NYCdriver He's referring to the option list, image 120.
@Shane_Miles Am I missing something? I don't see Burmester. Obviously that wasn't even related to MB in 2000
@Shane_Miles Yes, they do.
@BryanZurlo Do the rear deck speakers say Bose?
@Shane_Miles Interesting that Burmester is listed, when I researched option code 810 the "Bose Premium Audio System" comes up.
I've never seen a W210 spec'd with a "Burmester" Sound System. What do you know about that?
@Shane_Miles Correct, the speedometer reads correctly so I would assume that recalibration must've been done at some point. I can't confirm if the 155 MPH limiter is still there.
@BryanZurlo - So the speedo is reading MPH accurately, despite the overlay? I guess this means the factory cluster was retained, modified & adjusted for the new face plate. Very interesting.... I wonder if the car is still limited to 155 or if it's potentially unrestricted like the euro cars.
@paulunm Me as well, it's interesting that the steering wheel is a face-lift piece but also has the Blueberry trim.
@Shane_Miles I'd be happy to, the gauge cluster has an overlay on it and like the wheels, were installed prior to my ownership. I'm not aware of any other Brabus items installed on the car and I did reach out to Brabus with the VIN and was told that they did not service the car themselves, could be that these items were added by an individual.
Can you speak more on the wheels & aftermarket gauge cluster? When were these pieces modified/replaced & how was the mileage retained when they did the cluster swap? Are you aware of any other "Brabus" modifications aside from these two things? Any additional history would be much appreciated.
Love the interior! find it interesting that a post facelift car doesn’t have the perforated leather seat inserts, never seen that before.
$2,055 bid placed by @Rockster80
Always loved these, especially with the 2 tone interior.
