A walk-around and start up video has been provided by the seller below.
For three brief years in the mid-2000s, Mercedes-Benz made what may be the perfect “do-it-all” car that offered reliable M113 V8 power (topping 300+ horses), comfortable seating for seven, cargo room sufficient for a month-long vacation and all-wheel drive traction to power that vacation into the Rockies: the 2004-06 E500 4Matic wagon offered everything a buyer could reasonably want in a single vehicle household and did it with classic, round-headlight Mercedes styling. While some argue that the AMG variant of this V8 wagon setup trumps the E500 – and it does in terms of performance and aggressive looks – the repair bills (or just the brake rotor replacement bills) that come along with W211 AMG ownership are enough to keep this E500 running for half a decade or more. Lovingly driven examples in unique color combinations like this don't come along often and should prove a welcome addition for those hunting a longroof.

@trico123 email me at [email protected]
does the new owner want an extra 500$ for this car? im cash ready and all
Congrats the buyer! What a deal !
In case it is of interest to the wining bidder. I previously became very interested in a similar 2004 Diamond Blue with Blue interior wagon, which I did not end up purchasing. However, I did purchase new OEM Mercedes Blue carpet mats from Germany. I would be happy to sell them at the same price that I paid on German eBay, plus shipping to you. (I would need to look up the purchase price but they were around 100 Euros plus shipping to me.) In any event, GLWTA.

@KingKitty thank you for the input, I’ll try to lift the car to take pictures of underneath as well. Thank you !
I loves my wagons, and this looks like a nice one! I'm guessing here, but feel pretty confident in my observations: The cracked and damaged panels you see in the later 50s' photos appear to be a full-length "belly pan". This was a common design in this vintage Mercedes', such as the W164 and C215/216 chassis' cars. THere were plastic covers that extended from the front bumper almost all the way to the rear axle. Some of these cover critical parts such as fuel pumps or tanks, but in the past Mercedes typically just designed a cover for that area/item, not a "full length" one. They are serviceable if the parts are still available. People often poo-poo the presence of these undercarriage covers, but they're there for a number of reasons, such as noise attenuation, protection from road debris, cooling, etc., etc. If you have these on your car, please, please keep them intact! GLWA!
@TheBooness no comment is out of line no worries at all, I’ve just sold my 99 CL600 here last week for $14k and I’ve spent $33k just for maintenance and repairs :) so v12s can be painful but as you’ve mentioned nothing comes closer to their ride quality. I currently own three 65 AMGs (they’re all 06) and 95 S600(which I’m going to list it here within couple months) so I feel you about maintenance :) yes it has way too many owners even tho it’s 20 years old but still I’d say should be around 4-5 owners, I’m the 8th and winner of this auction will be the 9th. As it comes to repairs, I purchased the car on eBay with bad suspension, battery, uglier(I think) rims and sight-unseeing. I transported the vehicle from Idaho, to PA directly to my mechanics shop. He went through with everything and cost about $3,5 or $3,8 (in pics). Then I was driving the car noticed the power headrest for driver wasn’t working, I figured dealer could get me the part so I told them to go through the whole car and fix the headrest ($900 something for the whole service along with couple other fixes) and while it was at the dealer they’ve addressed the recall(yeah I was surprised too cuz all my cars are older I don’t get to get recalls done lol) something related to sunroof and they said shifter bushing needed attention(was cheap) along with one (I believe LR) airmatic line. It runs great and everything work for now, I always check what’s out there (only Benz) and this was a good deal so I scooped it even tho I didn’t need it. I currently own 11 benzes
I know it’s an older car, it just seems like it’s had a lot of owners (8?) and a lot of early issues with the module. That may be totally normal, I don’t know. I just know what I’ve learned in the last year driving these incredible machines. I too have been tipsy at the end of an auction and ended up with vehicles. I really didn’t need or even want. (For example-The S600, which I absolutely love, nothing else I’ve ever driven, comes close, and I’ve had some pretty sweet rides) but with a new baby, my needs (and budget) have changed. I appreciate your honesty in the comments below and the future I’ll try to be more direct and leave out the extra commentary
I love the color combination, I don’t think Ive seen another like it. Just a quick question or two I noticed two different invoices for repairs one dated 727 Ielly at 8/10. The first invoice shows extensive repairs, and the second talks about a suspension issue, which appears to have been corrected. It’s just hard to see because there’s no total on the August 10 invoice. I also wondered if the issue was not noticed by the first mechanic or if the problem just appeared two weeks later. I don’t know whole lot about cars, except how expensive they can be to maintain. I have a S600 with super low miles and complete maintenance records from new, but I spend more on maintaining that car than any sane person should. I’m looking to replace my E350 wagon because I want more horsepower and performance. I mistakenly purchased the wagon, thinking it would be plenty of performance mods to do that, sadly, it seems to be one of the cars that doesn’t have very many options. I’m just deciding between an E500 or an AMG. My concern with the AMG is it will cost even more than the S600 to properly maintan. Sorry for being long-winded, it seems there are plenty of performance mods for the E500 it would be cheaper by far in the long run. If you have any thoughts on this, please let me know. Thank you, and if my comment is out of line, please let me know. I’m new to this site.
@JulietHotel unfortunately I can’t, the vehicle was sitting low when I bought it might’ve hit the bottom while transporting from Idaho to PA, I’ll try to take better pictures of it but I have no idea what caused the undercarriage parts being missing because I don’t know the story of it
So you cannot say what caused the damage in picture 52?
@JulietHotel I’ll try to take better pictures, unfortunately I don’t work on my cars but I’d assume the undercarriage pieces might be missing since the vehicle is older with high-ish miles. But I’ll try to take proper pictures, all I can say that neither dealership nor independent shop advised me about anything underneath. So it might be an angle, but as I said it’s close to 20 years old with 157k miles I’d assume during the time it lost couple components underneath. I’m going to add more pictures to portal so can be seen on the ad as well, appreciate the input! Will keep you posted
@Drkkrkn Can you explain what happened to the underbody? There seems to be cracks in 57 & 58 and a chunk missing.
Underbody photos have been added to the gallery.
@Tojestsila I recently purchased the vehicle from eBay, came with bad LR strut and battery. The way I get my cars serviced is usually if I feel/hear anything I always take it to an independent Benz mechanic or to a local Benz dealer. I know I’m not helping but I have no idea if the items you listed have been replaced, I took the car to Benz dealer and told them to fix the driver seat power headrest-wasn’t working when I bought it- and go through the whole car. Receipts are in the pictures, let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Any recent air spring replacement? What about lowered A-Arm bushings or entire front suspension/steering pieces? a/c unit replaced or original ? Please advise, Thank you

@jwalk72 I’m going to upload the pictures on portal later on so can be seen on the ad.
@jwalk72 sure thing! Where can I send the pictures to ? Could you provide me a phone # or email address ?
Great wagon! Can you provide pictures of the undercarriage? Thx
@allmack yes I just got the car couple months ago, I always check available for sale benzes and found this one on eBay with a great deal and was tipsy a little that night :) I fixed every issues it came with- it wasn’t a bad car- n then I figured I don’t need the 11th car :)
Flipped twice in a year according to Carfax. Why sell so soon?
@JMercedes appreciate it!
Nice ride! Bought a different car from Drkkrkn earlier this year. Great seller
Welcome to my auction everyone! Thank you much for your interest! The vehicle is in really good condition cosmetically and mechanically. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck!
