Congrats on your purchase! People may call the law enforcement cuz of this selling price is a steal ! :)
@124guywell it’s for sale :)
Hello everyone! Last couple hours! In the interest of making sure this car goes to a good home, I’ve decided to lift the reserve and highest bidder wins this great running/looking W140. Good luck everyone!
Hello everyone! We’re getting close to the last 24 hours of this beautiful, well sorted S600. Feel free to ask me any questions I’ll do my best to answer every single one of you. And as a note, we are about to meet the floor as well.
@rhartsough1I don’t have problem playing both videos but maybe because I uploaded them ? Here’s the link to both videos so you can copy/paste on your browser. The vehicle is quite like any other w140 with v12. Exhaust brabus muffler but it sounds stock I know it sounds weird :) https://youtu.be/qpUzhgX0FEE?feature=shared https://youtu.be/iamf5wmzHco?feature=shared
Hello again everyone! I just wanted to let you guys know that the walk around/cold start/function check videos are uploaded. I forgot to show the operation of soft closing doors in video but all four door soft close work. Please let me know if you guys have any further questions or concerns
@nptmbmappreciate it! I emailed them last night so let’s see.
@nptmbm I sincerely apologize And now you mentioned that they missed some of the pictures, they didn’t upload the YouTube links that I do walk around/function check/cold start videos. So sorry for responding without checking the pictures, i am emailing the mbmarket right now.
@nptmbmLED lights are low beam, headlights also have a fog lights built in to them (if you pull the knob it turns on fog lights in headlights). If you only turn on the headlights then the fog lights that are not the bumper turn on
@nptmbmthe way that I keep my cars might be a little bit weird :) so here’s my style; my friend owns a German specialist shop (he’s the one who did the harness) and I also deal with a local mb dealership to keep all 13 of my benzes in a good shape. I want to say if there’d be a significant damage on frame they would inform me since I always tell shops to go through the whole car on every single service/fix. Body components line up pretty well, so I wanna say there’s no frame damage (there may have been and fixed but if so it prolly fixed properly) as it comes to brand of a wire, I have no idea I’m going to ask my friend. I’ll do my best to lift the car up and send pictures there should be some underneath pictures in the current pictures but if not enough let me know I’ll do my best
@quantumorbit sorry for the late response, but yes the carfax is posted on the ad by mbmarket
@nptmbmthank you!
@DakotaBI know my answer isn’t going to help you much but no idea about the damage. What I can tell you though, it doesn’t have any severe frame damage signs or a sign of flood damage either. If you know anyone local to me you are more than welcome to send someone to come by and take a look at the vehicle.
Hello everyone and welcome to my auction. Here I am offering 1995 S600 with the notorious wiring harness has been done and it runs 99.9%. I currently own about 13 benzes and always trying to get my hands on different models. Feel free to ask me anything I’ll do my best to answer as precisely as possible. Good luck everyone!
@SRFOXhello and thank you for the comment, I’ve purchased the vehicle back in 2020 and I believe the reconstructed title was issued back in 2011. I haven’t done any body work with the vehicle only changed the wheels and at one point I believe I got the front bumper painted. I wasn’t even notified that my auction was live so if you’ve been waiting for answer sorry for the late response
@pcarrithe reserve was $15k. I’m surprised it didn’t exceed that but these cars have a pretty unstable market I guess it only takes one right person who’s looking for one :) let me know if you’d be interested in. I think I’ll be selling something else from my ‘wannabe’ collection
@bhenry3unfortunately have no idea about the whole country but I’m not having any issues with PA inspections since it doesn’t throw any code. That’s why I got it mapped with no catalytic converter
Hello everyone! As we’re getting closer to the finish line, I just wanted to let everybody know that we’re pretty close to the reserve and if you guys have any questions about the vehicle just let me know. Good luck everybody!
Hello everyone and welcome to my auction with definitely reasonable and low reserve :) little bit about me, I currently own SL and CL65 as well. So I’d say I’m somewhat familiar of the M275 platform. The only reason that I’m selling this W220 is, I want to get W221 S65. I always have my cars serviced by Euromotor cars of Devon, or continental automotive(extremely reputable German specialist) I’ve spent more than $11k for the sound system at the extremely reputable local shop called ‘Perzan Auto Radio’ alone and I know even though it’s not going to add much value to the vehicle, I didn’t want to take the system out. I want the next owner enjoy the sound of the vehicle and sound of the speakers :) whenever I feel/hear anything on my cars, I always address that issue. I’ve noticed the dynamic seat option didn’t work and I took the vehicle to the dealer just because of that, but unfortunately being a rare almost 20 years old twin turbo V12 car, sometimes parts can be discontinued. I have three sets of keys to the vehicle, it was a well kept car even when I first bought it and first thing I did was taking the vehicle to the Mercedes dealership to get it checked out throughly. I have all the receipts for the works that have been done under my ownership I believe total of $33,578 (not including the $11,960 for the soundsystem) just for maintenance and addressing issues or preventive fixes. Good luck everybody! And feel free to ask anything I’m going to do my best to answer all the questions!
Congrats the buyer! What a deal !
@KingKittythank you for the input, I’ll try to lift the car to take pictures of underneath as well. Thank you !
@TheBoonessno comment is out of line no worries at all, I’ve just sold my 99 CL600 here last week for $14k and I’ve spent $33k just for maintenance and repairs :) so v12s can be painful but as you’ve mentioned nothing comes closer to their ride quality. I currently own three 65 AMGs (they’re all 06) and 95 S600(which I’m going to list it here within couple months) so I feel you about maintenance :) yes it has way too many owners even tho it’s 20 years old but still I’d say should be around 4-5 owners, I’m the 8th and winner of this auction will be the 9th. As it comes to repairs, I purchased the car on eBay with bad suspension, battery, uglier(I think) rims and sight-unseeing. I transported the vehicle from Idaho, to PA directly to my mechanics shop. He went through with everything and cost about $3,5 or $3,8 (in pics). Then I was driving the car noticed the power headrest for driver wasn’t working, I figured dealer could get me the part so I told them to go through the whole car and fix the headrest ($900 something for the whole service along with couple other fixes) and while it was at the dealer they’ve addressed the recall(yeah I was surprised too cuz all my cars are older I don’t get to get recalls done lol) something related to sunroof and they said shifter bushing needed attention(was cheap) along with one (I believe LR) airmatic line. It runs great and everything work for now, I always check what’s out there (only Benz) and this was a good deal so I scooped it even tho I didn’t need it. I currently own 11 benzes
@JulietHotelunfortunately I can’t, the vehicle was sitting low when I bought it might’ve hit the bottom while transporting from Idaho to PA, I’ll try to take better pictures of it but I have no idea what caused the undercarriage parts being missing because I don’t know the story of it
@JulietHotelI’ll try to take better pictures, unfortunately I don’t work on my cars but I’d assume the undercarriage pieces might be missing since the vehicle is older with high-ish miles. But I’ll try to take proper pictures, all I can say that neither dealership nor independent shop advised me about anything underneath. So it might be an angle, but as I said it’s close to 20 years old with 157k miles I’d assume during the time it lost couple components underneath. I’m going to add more pictures to portal so can be seen on the ad as well, appreciate the input! Will keep you posted
@TojestsilaI recently purchased the vehicle from eBay, came with bad LR strut and battery. The way I get my cars serviced is usually if I feel/hear anything I always take it to an independent Benz mechanic or to a local Benz dealer. I know I’m not helping but I have no idea if the items you listed have been replaced, I took the car to Benz dealer and told them to fix the driver seat power headrest-wasn’t working when I bought it- and go through the whole car. Receipts are in the pictures, let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
@jwalk72I’m going to upload the pictures on portal later on so can be seen on the ad.
@jwalk72sure thing! Where can I send the pictures to ? Could you provide me a phone # or email address ?
@allmackyes I just got the car couple months ago, I always check available for sale benzes and found this one on eBay with a great deal and was tipsy a little that night :) I fixed every issues it came with- it wasn’t a bad car- n then I figured I don’t need the 11th car :)
@JMercedesappreciate it!
Welcome to my auction everyone! Thank you much for your interest! The vehicle is in really good condition cosmetically and mechanically. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck!
@Boatymcboatfaceexactly! 140 and 124 chassis benzes are from different world ! And yes, title status is bad along with the mileage but it was in great shape! I’m going to miss for sure
Congrats!
@Mgaramino expense spared, extremely well sorted car. As you can tell I daily my cars and always address whatever I hear/feel as long as the parts are available
@Mgarami yes it’s the same car but at the last auction the vehicle didn’t meet its reserve. Now running it with no reserve so highest bidder will own it :) feel free to ask if you have any questions and concerns
Last 24 hours! Should be one of the most sorted out C140 v12s in country. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. Good luck !
@edwardsgwsorry for the late got busy, I just emailed you the detail pictures of the engine. Hope that helps, the way it feels and sounds, there’s no way that it’d have a collapsed motor mount. Let me know if you need anything else from me. Happy Sunday!
Happy Labor Day weekend everyone! Just a reminder! This extremely rare and extremely well sorted CL600’s NO RESERVE auction is ending in the next 4 days! Little bit about me, I currently own; 95 S600 04 E500 4Matic Wagon(coming soon to MbMarket with no reserve!) 06 S65 06 SL65 06 CL65 87 190E 2.3-16 cosworth 93 300CE 92 300TE 13 ML63 88 560SL 88 560SEC 73 280SE 4.5 Going to be thinning the garage herd, but feel confident bidding on this gorgeous CL600 as no expense spared! Feel free to reach out to me if you have any concerns or questions. Good luck!
@edwardsgwsounds good, will email you the pictures then. I highly doubt it, transmission pilot bushing service was-as I remember- fairly cheap I don’t think they had to move the motor
@edwardsgwPA title states ‘reconstructed’ that’s how they word in here. Where can I send you the pictures from ? The vehicle was at the Euromotor cars of Devon just a week ago for a check-up and they haven’t noticed a thing, you know they’d never miss the chance of making $ :) just let me know where can I send the detailed pictures to you, I have the car sitting at home will send you whatever is needed
@KingKittyhad no idea about the FL process. Here in PA we do have somewhat similar process, vehicle involves in an accident and becomes a ‘salvage certified vehicle’ after the rebuild process been done, vehicle goes to an independent shops that inspect the vehicle (take the pictures of the body etc.) and provide an inspection report that required by Penndot to be able to get ‘reconstructed’ title and issue a plate. Let me know if I can do anything on my end, PA requires a state safety/emission inspection every year, and never had a problem passing any of the inspections under my ownership.
@pgcolo69 yup that’s what happened, I did send the submission form with the 114,100 miles but mbmarket might’ve missed it, carfax clearly states the -close to- current mileage anyway since all the services are performed by Mercedes dealership. I have nothing but pages and pages long of service records :)
@Vizcaya there’s no conspiracy theories there :) I bought the vehicle with 103k miles and listed on mbmarket with a $14k floor-obviously it didn’t meet the floor- when it had 109k. It didn’t meet reserve and I kept driving it, now the vehicle has 114k miles which is the way that I submitted to mbmarket not sure why they listed with a different mileage. I purchased the vehicle from a private seller for a great price -it was listed on ebay- back in 2020. I addressed everything that I could (as long as the parts were continued) the vehicle has been serviced by Euromotor cars of Devon (a local Mercedes dealership) under my ownership so as my other benzes and has a PA state inspection performed by them. Let me know if I can provide you any other necessary information that’d make you comfortable bidding on it
@Galene I purchased the vehicle with broken front bumper and passenger headlight wasn’t HID (but not sure if that was the damage from 2013 or some unrecorded accident between the 2013-2020 by previous owner)
@pgcolo69oh no it’s not dirty, it’s the texture
@Skid44thank you so much for the input but unfortunately I purchased the vehicle 7 years after the incident. According to carfax, vehicle had a ‘non collision damage’ and became reconstructed titled vehicle. I have no idea about what happened but as I’ve mentioned, there’s no sign of fire, water etc. damage on the vehicle. Carfax is also attached as well
Hello everyone! Thank you for checking this rare gem with no reserve, feel free to ask me any questions. I daily all my benzes-in total of 11- and if you need any detailed pictures/videos don’t hesitate to reach out to me, I’ll send it right away! By the way, the vehicle has 114k miles as can be seen in video, but in case anyone misses it. Good luck!
@pgcolo69hello, thank you for commenting. I’ve purchased the vehicle back in 2020, and the incident that caused the title situation to be changed to ‘reconstructed’ happened on 2013. Carfax shows as ‘non structural damage’ but can’t see any water/fire damage either. Feel free to ask me anything, I’ll do my best to assist.
@ekosmatosposted the pictures when I was in Clifton heights but yes I work there. Car is at the storage place in NJ at the moment, but if you’d like to check it message me later we can arrange a day
@Fatfrogsure I can! Car is at storage place, I’ll get pictures of undercarriage and close up pics around windshield as well. I don’t wanna sound like a ‘seller’ but I don’t recall any rust spot around windshield BUT 124s are known for rust and being closed to quarter million miles it’s certainly possible. Frame is good tho, that I know :)
@leadphutpretty good actually, suspension isn’t stiff at all still pretty comfy
@cdwatnsuwell, let’s just be honest lol
@Sergeyoh nice ! Had no idea what’s happening right by me :) thank you so much for the info ! I’ll try to make it as well , depends on the other cruise events etc.
@Sergeythat’s not that far from me at all either , I’ll try to be there. What do they do on demo days ? I’ve been to their lot (for meets) but never walked in to building :) I love benzes , what I can say I’m glutton for punishment :)
@Sergeynot sure about the production dates but you’re right could be made in 1998 as well. Didn’t check the door sticker for production date
@DABSaigonunfortunately I purchased the vehicle back in 2020. According to CARFAX it turns out to be total loss without any other info. There’s no sign of flood damage on the vehicle and it hasn’t given me any electronic or wiring issues. I know not helping but all I can say is ‘I’m not really sure’ :)
@TWWOKCthank you much for the input ! Definitely, everybody that I feel/hear on the vehicle have been addressed
@pilotbrother2003 exactly ! Lol anytime ! According to CARFAX out of nowhere it’s listed as total loss back in 2013, I haven’t seen anything like that either :)
@BlueDevilBillI’m planning to put my 88 560SL and 93 300CE (with a ‘fake Amg’ kit and monoblock wheels) so nothing special but the 300CE looks pretty awesome :) Also currently own ; 06 S65 06 SL65 06 CL65 87 560SEC 96 S600 88 560SL 93 300CE And in the process of getting 13 ML63
@pilotbrother2003 according to seller, it was hit a deer. I had to replace the passenger side headlight along with front bumper cover.
@BlueDevilBillI know I will regret my decision for my whole life, but own eight more benzes I don’t get to drive much. It’s in great condition, someone can definitely enjoy it
