This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E36 AMG Wagon was ordered in Germany and received modifications from Affalterbach tuning house AMG, whose merger with Mercedes-Benz was nearing completion at the time. The datacard shows option code 957 designating the car to be modified by AMG from new with the full optics package and engine upgrade. AMG modifications include a 3.6L AMG tuned engine, a full AMG body kit, 280km/h AMG speedometer, factory Recaro sport leather seats, and 17" AMG Aero II monoblock wheels. Finished in Black Pearl Metallic (199) over Black Leather (271), power is provided by a bored and stroked 3.6-liter DOHC inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission turning the rear wheels. The current owner and collector purchased the car in 2013 and has added approximately 54k km since. Those added kilometers mostly consisted of road trips to and from the U.K. to Germany, sometimes with a full cargo space and passengers on the Autobahn. It’s been well-kept and maintained in the process with the most recent service in 2025 including a standard check-up and service but also included new spark plugs, new engine and transmission mounts, a new alternator, new SLS spheres,a new AC compressor, a new AC condenser, a brake service, and all accompanying filters. Additionally in preparation for the sale the wheel bearings, drive belts, fuel filter, and all four tires were replaced. A total of $41k has been spent on ensuring this car is maintained under the current owner’s care since 2013. Now with 161,332 km (~100k miles), this rare AMG Wagon is being offered by the current owner and seller with service records, prior import records, a clean U.K. title, and 2 key fobs.
This S124 has a full AMG optioned body kit and Code 957 denoting it was destined to be sent to Affalterbach for modifications when it was produced which includes a front air dam, side skirts, and rear bumper. The Gen 2 AMG bodywork is finished in classic Black Pearl Metallic (199) with photo documentation provided in the gallery. Additional exterior equipment includes front fog lights in bumper, power antenna, power rear hatch wiper, a power tilt/slide sunroof, vacuum actuated central locking.
Upfitted 17” AMG Aero II monoblock wheels are fitted with Michelin tires measuring 225/45 front and rear tires. The wheels show with some curb rash and age-related wear. Extensive underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
The front and rear seats are wrapped in Black Leather (261) while the polished Burl Walnut trim accents the center console, dashboard, and door panels. Other appointments are cruise control, automatic climate control, floor mats, multi-contour heated seats, and an auxiliary heater. The rear hatch door features soft-close functionality and is fully operational.
The leather steering wheel fronts an AMG-specific 280-KPH speedometer along with a 7k-RPM tachometer, an analog clock, oil pressure gauge, fuel read out, and coolant temperature gauge. The six-digit odometer shows 161,332 km (~100k miles) from new.
Imported by the current owner in 2013, this car shows history in Germany, Japan, and the U.K. Now with 161,332 km (~100k miles), this rare AMG Wagon is being offered by the current owner and seller with service records, prior import records, a clean U.K. title, and 2 key fobs.

@PeterQvortrup car was equipped with the same side headlights from the factory.@YuraCoupe Hi, the one on the other side fell off some time ago, the car is mainly used to drive in Europe. None of the head lights have been changed. Peter@PeterQvortrup 50% correct. Left headlight is for right side traffic. Right headlight is for left side traffic. That’s the question why only one headlight was changed.$22,500 bid placed by @Ahtem

The idea of this cruising at triple digits loaded with people is so cool.@OriginalAndRare I have an R107, but it is with original wheels, i have a couple of sets of AMG wheels but they are not for an R107. Peter@Fossxplorer Hi, the paint job was to sort out minor chips from stones and people opening doors into the side of the car plus repair some damage on the front spoiler. The roads here in the UK is full of pot holes, so we get a lot of stone damage. Peter@quickmath Hi, no there isn't, I have the seats and parts but it came without. PeterWhy did the car have paint work last years?@Adriatik1234 Hi Adriatic, Now that is a lot of questions! If you look through all the service, restoration and repair invoices you will find the answer to a lot of them. I am not in the office where I hold the paperwork until Tuesday as it is a public holiday in the UK on Monday, but here are the answers I can give you, - Has the engine wiring harness been replaced or updated?, Yes replaced - Has the engine ever had any head gasket work or issues? No not while I have owned it and I have done close to 56,000 kms in the car - How is the condition of the self-leveling suspension (SLS)? Works - Are there any oil leaks or mechanical concerns currently? No, as the car is mainly used for long distance travel in Europe, it is maintained to a standard that makes that possible without worries. - Do you have complete service records available? All the UK records are available in the pictures - Is there documentation from its time in Japan? No, and neither from its original life in Germany, I have brought in 38 cars from Japan over the past 13 years and only a few came with records so this is nothing unusual. - Can the mileage be fully verified with continuous records? Again look at all the service and repair records, but to support them here are the mileage records from the MOT certificates, 11/9 2014 107,359 kms this was the mileage at the time of purchase 19/11 2015 123,342 kms 20/7 2016 126,548 kms 11/8 2017 132,825 kms 10/4 2018 139,052 kms 23/5 2019 143,011 kms 1/6 2022 147356 kms, car was in storage during Covid 15/5 2023 147,525 kms 29/11 2024 156852 kms 4/12 2025 161,332 kms No accidents that I know of, when the car came in from Japan the suspension had been heavily modified (lowered) all of that was brought back to original condition, see Haynes invoices from 2014/2015 No rust, I did not use car in the winter. Data card, I don't think I have one. The 957 code is shown on one of the pictures in the auction as far as I know. Hope this helps. Peter@AmirES Hi sure that is possible, this weekend or Monday is no problem. PeterHi Is it possible to view this before the end of the auction? I’m based in the UK in Milton KeynesDear Peter, I hope you are well. I am very interested in your 1994 Mercedes-Benz E36 AMG Wagon currently listed for auction. It is a very special car, and I am considering placing a serious bid. Before proceeding, I would appreciate if you could kindly provide some additional details: - Has the engine wiring harness been replaced or updated? - Has the engine ever had any head gasket work or issues? - How is the condition of the self-leveling suspension (SLS)? - Are there any oil leaks or mechanical concerns currently? Regarding the vehicle history: - Do you have complete service records available? - Is there documentation from its time in Japan? - Can the mileage be fully verified with continuous records? Body and condition: - Has the car ever been involved in an accident or had any repaint? - Is there any rust present (especially underneath, wheel arches, or jacking points)? Authenticity: - Would it be possible to share the full datacard? - Do you have documentation confirming the factory AMG (code 957) specification? Additionally, if you have any recent underbody photos or cold start videos, that would be very helpful. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Adriatik@yaoh .. i have a short question too TW: Do you own a R107 with AMG wheels in 2012 or earlier? BR mn$12,250 bid placed by @quickmath
