@stevieboy you gotta relax man or you're going to have an early heart attack! Good luck finding your 19,000 mile E320 CDI with all the oil change documents hahaha.
@Jtwoods4 So you buy your cars sight unseen without any documentation? Great business plan! Probably works well.
@stevieboy I am a car dealer ;)
@jtwoods4 Where's your bid? Wasn't that easy to make fun of serious questions and lay back and feel like you're really knowledgeable? But until you've bought something and then it turns out not to be what you thought, your comments are just hot air. How about oil changes, normal maintenance, tires, alignment, shocks, etc.? In your world, 19k miles in 16 years with no documentation is all you need? You're the guy car dealers absolutely froth at the mouth to see!
Nothing like a black Benz.

@Stevieboy why would there be records the car has 19,000 miles on it. hahaha
Contemplating bidding, but the lack of records and documentation makes me a bit nervous.

If no service records are available besides CARFAX, I guess it’s safe to assume that all fluids etc. are the original when delivered. I did notice that the brake fluid was flushed in 2005.
@daroncpa I did not do any of the other fluids other than an oil and filter service. I asked my mechanic to do whatever he felt was necessary upon inspection and those were not done. I’m not sure if brakes are original or not but the pads appear to have been replaced at some point. The battery has shown no signs of fatigue and always started with no issue. Still, a new battery would likely be in order in the near future due to the date. Thanks
Were any of the following done? Brake fluid flush. Coolant, transmission and differential fluids flushed and changed? Battery has a 2011 date code. Are the brakes the original? This is a 17 year old car.
@Stevieboy I do not have any prior service records from either previous owner but the service history records on the Carfax are all done by the dealer so I could likely get copies of those invoices I would think. I don't have the original window sticker and debated getting one of the reproductions from Stuttgart Studios which most sellers do today when the original is lost. The repros are actually very nice.

Do you have the original window sticker or previous maintenance records?

Very nice example! These really were the last true diesels before the headaches of DEF fluid were introduced. Nearly impossible to find one with this kind of mileage today, most I see are well over 200k by now.

@CarCrazy24 Thanks! This car has factory halogen headlamps. You could retrofit xenon bulbs easily as the headlights do have a projector lens already.
Stunning! Does it have xenon headlights?

What a gem! A CDI with this kind of mileage has decades of life remaining and I'm personally a huge fan of black/black on the 211s.

I really hate to see this one go as it really is a fantastic car. Unfortunately I can't keep them all and need to make room in the stable so the CDI is up for grabs! I've had the car since August of last year and driven it sparingly in dry weather only. Everything on the car functions properly and it gets excellent MPGs plus a ton of torque. I'll be monitoring daily for questions and thanks for stopping in!

Holy grail of modern Mercedes-Benz diesels. Will be fun to watch where this goes.
Nice example of the W211 diesel. Refreshing to see a cylinder head that isn't plagued by the "Black Death" that's so common on these. Potential buyers will want to be sure the EGR checks out as well as the dreaded intake manifold flaps and actuator. Hopefully, on a car with this few miles these aren't issues. GLWA!
