@LincolnAMG The current owner did numerous upgrades including recoating/heat treating the headers, refinishing the valve cover, and adding a new/refinished airbox. The AMG lettering from the original airbox was transferred to the new airbox. This change was a personal taste/aesthetic choice by the seller. The original airbox is included with the sale and a photo of it has been added to the gallery.The engine covers in the recent photos are all black versus the original colors from the 2016 photos, including painting the AMG logo black. @M3INABUFU By comparison, the last known public sale for one of these AMG 3.4 Widebody coupes was approximately $150k USD in 2020. Mileage was almost identical to this one but it was silver/black and had been converted by AMG Japan, not AMG Affalterbach as here.@M3INABUFU I would be very surprised to see a reserve that low on this car. Assuming it has documents (i.e. really built by AMG Germany....yes I know this car spent time in Japan) and mileage checks out. This is very rare car to see in the U.S., or anywhere for that matter. I wonder what the reserve is at. Judging by the original owner and the rarity of this kind of vehicle i'm sure they want nothing less than 30K +@StuttgartClassix Unfortunately the majority of these wheels that we see do have some lug hole cracks. On photo 51, the streak across the face is a water mark that should easily wipe away just to clarify but the lower left lug hole does appear to have a crack developed on the inside. As you alluded to, this is primarily caused by air guns or torquing the wheels beyond 70-75 ft/lbs.lovely car.... true to the OG hammer look but good lord thats a massive crack in photo 51 on that three piece wheel....It always amazes me how this continues to happen.....people take care of your wheels...put down the air gunShe came through Garage Current...That's awesome. The OG seller of spectacular Pre-Merger cars in Japan...I know I've got a calender or two of theirs here at the shop. That CIS-E M104 is an Angry little runner especially once you get them on the pipe/over 4K... These present their power in a far more Engageing manner vs the later LH/ME 3.6L AMG Engines. Euro only/Common AMG mod oil cooler and the .5 trans will make high speed Runs all the more reliable And enjoyable! ...do wish she had a proper muffler, rasp is fun for an afternoon but I'm not 17 any more.
