Many, many thanks to the commenters and their praises of the E55 AMG. When the auction went live, I sent a link to my friend, who owned the car for 5 years prior to my purchasing it in 2013. His comment was, "It’s good to see the “Old Gal” looking so sharp. It looks like she’s done well over the past 9 years. I’m not surprised – that’s why I had no problems leaving her in your hands." Hopefully, I'll be able to move it to another owner who will do an even better job of keeping it sharp and preserved (and also have some fun with it!!)
