This 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is finished in Light Ivory (623) over Palomino Leather (274), and power is provided by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. This is a relist after the prior winning bidder was unable to follow through with the purchase at no fault of the seller or the car. Originally sold new in Illinois, this R107 spent time in Florida and Ohio before relocating to South Carolina in 2002 until 2024 when it was acquired by the selling dealer. The car spent the majority of its last 10 years in climate controlled storage and has underwent servicing in preparation for the sale including a new fuel pump and filter, fuel tank, sending unit, seals, battery, and machined front rotors. Features include a folding brown soft top, a removable hardtop, fog lights, a Becker cassette stereo, electric windows, central locking, and automatic climate control. Now showing 57,623 miles, this R107 is now offered by the selling dealer with the owner's manual, tool kit, hardtop stand, partial service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Carolina title.
The car is finished in Light Ivory (623) and includes a paint-matched removable hardtop along with a folding brown soft top. Both tops present in good condition with no major flaws. Additional exterior features include fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accents along the bumpers, windows, and belt line of the car. The body is free from any rust and the paint is believed to be all original.
Factory painted 15″ gullideckel wheels are mounted with 205/65 Michelin Radial tires with older date codes. The car was factory-equipped with power steering, fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The brake rotors were recently machined and refinished in preparation for the sale.
The interior is upholstered in Palomino Leather (274) and shows matching carpets, door cards, and center console. Interior appointments include a Becker Grand Prix AM/FM/cassette stereo, electric windows, central locking, and automatic climate control. Original burl wood trim accents the center console and dash. Normal wear is noted on the folding center arm rest and factory Mercedes-Benz branded floor mats are installed.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 170-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows just under 58k original miles.
The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. Recent service in preparation for the sale including a new fuel pump and filter, fuel tank, sending unit, seals, battery, and machined brake rotors. Underbody photos are viewable in the gallery.
Videos below show a walk around and interior tour of the car.

Gorgeous car. Sold my 1984 and am missing the old girl. I will review service records before asking redundant question.
