This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon shows as a West Coast, single family-owned example up until 2019 when it was acquired by the current owner. Finished in Beryll Metallic (888) over Beige Leather (265), power is provided by a 3.2-liter DOHC inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels. Factory equipment includes an electric sliding sunroof, self-leveling rear suspension, central locking, power mirrors, power front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control and a rear-facing third-row bench. Extensive service history begins with a stamped service booklet along with Carfax history beginning in 2001. The most recent service included a head gasket replacement in January 2024. This S124 has less than 58k miles from new and is now offered for sale by the selling dealer with the original manufacturer’s literature, the original tool kit, a clean Carfax report and a clean Nevada title.
The exterior is finished in Beryll Metallic (888) and features paint matched lower body cladding separated by a streak of chrome body trim. Exterior features include a black roof rack with two factory crossbars, front fog lamps, heated windshield washers, heated and power-adjustable door mirrors, an automatic antenna, a rear-window wiper and an electrically-operated sliding steel sunroof. The seller reports the passenger side of the car shows signs of paintwork. Minor rock chips are visible at the front of the vehicle, a small crease can be spotted below the passenger rear brake light, and a small scratch on the rear bumper offset by no signs of corrosion being present.
The factory 15” 8-hole alloy wheels are fitted with Michelin Defender tires which measure 205/65 on all four corners with date codes reading 2017. Very minor curb rash are visible on some of the wheels. The standard self-leveling rear suspension ensures a constant ride height at the rear of the vehicle even with heavy loads in the rear (or seven passengers) while traveling at speed. The factory spare is mounted in the rear along with the original tool kit.
The cabin is trimmed in Beige Leather (265) with matching headliner, carpets and floor mats while Zebrano wood trim lines the center console, dashboard and door panels. The wood trim shows no signs of fading. Both front seats offer 10-way power adjustability with two-position memory for the driver. Interior appointments include an electrically-telescoping steering column, cruise control, automatic climate control, a 6-speaker Active Bass audio system, a 60/40 split-folding second row, a retractable partition net and a folding rear-facing third row. The seller notes that everything in the cabin functions as it did from the factory. The car includes black all-weather floor mats and the factory first-aid kit.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts VDO instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature and oil pressure. A digital outside temperature sensor is mounted centrally at the bottom of the cluster. The six-digit odometer currently shows just under 58k miles from new.
This S124 is powered by a 3.2-liter M104 inline-six which is factory rated for 217 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Partial service history is included in the service booklet as the Carfax shows extensive records from 2001 onward with the most recent maintenance being a new head gasket in January 2024. The seller notes the wiring harness has been inspected and shows zero signs of degradation. Underbody photos have been provided by the seller and show no signs of corrosion.
The Carfax report shows one West Coast family-owned from new until 2019. It is reported the second owner on the Carfax was an heir of the original purchaser. Linear mileage updates are shown with no accidents or damage reports present. This 1995 E320 Wagon is now offered for sale with the original manufacturer’s literature, the original tool kit, a clean Carfax report and a clean Nevada title.

@JoeyBenz08 Thanks for the note. No, not on all panels. RF fender shows area of refinishing, Rear quarter panel show refinishing with a probable blend partially into rear section of RR door. Hope this helps.
You comment that there’s paint work on the right side does that mean all 4 panels? Thanks Joe

A picture of the Dephi wiring harness tag showing a May 11, 2007 date has been uploaded to the gallery.
@Mikeyy39 Thanks for the note. I measure paint depths on all my cars hence the disclosure. Right front fender has probably had a spot repair and been partially clear coated. Right quarter panel has been painted and blended a few inches forward into the RR door. The rest of the car measures factory correct. Hope this helps. Lovely car.
@cdwatnsu @manuelfangio_g @MBZTECH Thanks for the comments. I pulled the battery this afternoon and photographed the Delphi tag with a date of 05/11/2007. So, harness has been done. Uploaded an image to The MB Market. Should be visible in my photo essay soon.
@MBZTECH ahh, yes! I just zoomed in on pic 204 and saw it!

Pretty cool
@mbheritage - "The seller reports the passenger side of the car shows signs of paintwork" Can you please explain the evidence of the paintwork?
@mbheritage The VIN decoder indicates an August 1995 build date, completed 8/18. I believe that while T-model production continued through October ’96, that would make it one of the last US delivery Ts. Like the car wasn’t special enough already. Any indication on why the paintwork on the passenger side? Do you have meter readings?
The tag with the part number and manufacturing date is on the harness about 6 inches from the connection at the ME module. That is behind the plastic panel behind the battery. That being said, looking at the photos of the coolant temp sensors, the harness looks to have been replaced. In my 25 years working on MB, I've never seen a Beryll W124 wagon. GLWTA
$11,000 bid placed by @Ebehne
@mbheritage the updated harness will have a Delphi tag with part number on it. If that’s not present, then it’s not updated or it’s one they might have been rebuilt.
@mbheritage an easy way to tell is to look at the coolant temperature sensors on top of the thermostat housing and if you see a blue wire or a very bright green wire, then it is the updated harness.
@cdwatnsu You'll have to make that judgement yourself. You see what I see. There are no tags indicating a MFG date that I can see. The wiring at the connectors and the sheathing look unblemished so the presumption is that it has been replaced...

Got it that wiring harness shows no signs of degradation, but are they original?
