@stewilright. I was commenting on the write up. 4,400 a year is great!
Higher than normal mileage? 35 year old car with 154,000 miles is about 4,400 per year……
I’m glad that you’re intrigued by the comment. You hit the mail on the head-rust. Every component underneath is rusted, even the front and rear jack points, as well as the right quarter where the water pools under the taillight. Not to mention the engine oil, transmission and power steering fluid leaks, which were not mentioned at all. Imagine my surprise when I open the hood for the first time to see how wet the right side is. This is my 8th W124, so I know all about them, so no worries here, but I’m letting the uninformed bidders know to do a PPI, no matter who sells the car, unless of course it’s Dean Lambauch or Bruno Sacco.
I’d advise everyone to get a Pre-Purchase Inspection. Against my better judgment, I did not. Take it from me……don’t bid blindly because you think the site is great.
I had my green E 320 there from July 2020 through May 2021 in Mililani and Pearl City. I only saw one other W124s on the island. Are you in the Facebook group too?
@nrajput90my name on Cars & Bids is W124Lover…that’s where I bought my wagon. These are great cars. I just wanted a pre-facelift, classic car. The E 320 are too new for me, lol
@nrajput90Thank you, and no sir. I’ve owned 5 x W124 (wagon, coupe and sedans), a W201, W126 and w V140.
@Youngclassicamgsent you an email. I’m going to call later, if you’re available.
I’m in Virginia, so not local. But got it, wire transfer. Is that safe, with all of the scams going on, it seems like forever?
Should I win, what are the types of payment you accept?
Alright. Everyone, please take a nap for the next three days 🫡🤭😉
Oh, I see it. Trip doesn’t turn but odometer does.
Do you have a driving video that shows the odometer moving?
Always wanted a North America first year 300 E.
Two 124s for 124 day (1/24)!
Hilarious license plate 😂🤭😂🤭
I’m in central Virginia near Richmond. I’ll get with you about this weekend.
Are you available to show the car on weekends?
Venmo or Zelle work also? Even PayPal? I’m not sure I’d accept a check though 😂😂
Seller, what payment methods are accepted?
This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E420 was first sold at Mercedes-Benz of Cincinnati in November 2004 where it remained until 2002. The car did time travel? Awesome!
Well, that escalated quickly!
Wife put me in timeout on this one. Agree $11k is too low, but with premium almost $6 a gallon on the east coast…..
@mad_max99I second what @BabyBenzFan said. I’ve only owned a 2.6, 1989, and a few 3.0 and 3.2 300 E and E 320. Unfortunately, we both didn’t win that auction last week on BaT, so the addiction to classic M-B lives on!
If only it were a 2.6….GLWTA!
This thing is beautiful!
beautiful car! I like the earlier models without the Sacco panels, though I own 3 currently with Sacco panels. Without them, they look more classic, guillideckel wheels and all. I’ll be watching this one too.
This is a 1992 with a 1990-91 steering wheel? Why would the owner want to go back to big bus driver wheel versus the smaller one that started in 1992?
That’s my twin! My sedan and wagon wear the same beautiful, malachite green metallic. Beautiful, and GLWTA!
Wow!
Brand spanking new car!
Eyes on it!
Someone is stealing this car ☹️☹️
@gsxryes. I was referring to the write-up that included the instant economy, for correction. Also, your name looks familiar. Maybe from another auction site, haha.
Instant economy on W124s ended in the early 90s, but didn’t carry over to the facelift model.
