I'm shocked how clean the underbody is. Well, the whole car for that matter. Truly a diamond in the rough and I know these cars all too well. Kudos to the seller!

@Jasper_Stokes tires look perfect and car doesn’t get driven other than to keep started and maintained so I do not need new tires. Buyer can choose tires they want so I figured I would leave that option for a new buyer.
Beautiful car. I am curious about something, though. How do you reconcile your 'open checkbook' maintenance approach with 18 year-old tires? And beyond that, why not replace them before the auction? Thanks and GLWTA

Corrections to the listing have been made denoting the tire date codes which show 2006 on the front and 2016 on the rear. An additional invoice for recent work has also been added to the gallery for the valve cover gaskets and recent oil service.
In response to several private questions, there is zero rust and there was never any rust. The car was only driven in the winter months on rare occasions and rarely even saw rain. It’s been a garage queen its whole life. Only my dog has had a better life.

Where was the most recent service in Feb 2024 completed?
@FXRcR1 The description is incorrect. They are older Dunlops.
Description mentions 2019 Michelins, but photos show older Dunlops. Which is accurate?

@Bobader I assume it is possible to ship it overseas as long as it is fully paid for in advance and you arrange for the shipping. I would have course be happy to help them load it up.
@dean_Laumbach Thanks Dean!
You had me at the headliner !!! Nice to finally see a W210 without a sagging headliner. Very nice clean example. Best of luck !!!

Hello I am also in New Jersey, I own a paid off 2012 c63 p31 coupe with 65k miles, for more information on possible trade please text me at 908-525-2884.
@ferrari1971 sure
Hi, with 8 days left, could I schedule a ppi at a local MB dealer. It appears to be a very nice car?
Please be advised that although the front tires have plenty of tread, they are old and need to be replaced.
The original owner sold his company and retired and bought this car and a Ferrari. He is a car enthusiast and drove it on weekends putting 19,000 miles on it in 6 years but was otherwise garaged and maintained to perfection. The photo recently added shows the magazines he collected in 1999 focusing on the ‘99 E55; they will come with the car. I also purchased the car as a collector car and have always used my best efforts to maintain it in like new condition and have maintained it with an open checkbook. It’s a great car that I suspect will continue to increase in value - I’m only listing it because I’m now in “downsizing” mode. If it doesn’t sell I’ll likely put it back in the garage and leave it to my kids:-)
Additional videos have been added showing driving footage and interior electronics working. A photo of additional literature and both keys has also been added to the gallery.
@UncleFred1 I’ll try to get videos showing those items this weekend. As far as mileage, I bought the car to drive in 2005 and then added it to my private collection after a couple years of use. Hence the minimal mileage over most of my ownership.
@sedancollector yes, I’d be happy to show it to you. I’m not sure the process to share seller information but maybe Blakley can share.

Nice E55…some questions… 1). Only driven a little over 10K miles in 16 years, though it showed steady mileage increases prior…? 2). Is it a light issue, or is the cupholder cover a different wood? 3). There were several A/C issues….can you show a video of the system flowing air through the cycles, including temp? 4). In another video, can you show the full sunroof operation , along with the radio and door locks? 5). Lastly, how about a driving video showing both highway and city, with cruise control operating? All these are expensive items to repair , so just doing due diligence to ensure full info is provided… Thanks!👍😁
