This 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK55 AMG Cabriolet was delivered new and registered in Oklahoma and shows subsequent registrations in Indiana and Florida. Finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) over Designo Anthracite Leather (211), power is provided by a 5.4-liter M113 V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Features include original multi-piece AMG wheels, AMG sculpted bumpers and side skirts, Xenon headlamps, heated front seats, COMAND, and a power folding roof. The odometer indicates an original 75k miles and this CLK55 AMG is now offered by the Patina Collective for benefit of the The Cruiseybabbby Initiative charity which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports those struggling to live a healthy and fulfilling life with a spinal cord injury. The car is located in Boca Raton, Florida and comes with manufacturer’s literature, two keys, a recent Carfax report, a tool kit, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic (744) and features AMG styling by way of sculpted front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and AMG-stamped twin exhaust tips. The body panels are reportedly all original and are free from any damage or dents. Additional exterior options for this example include Xenon headlamps with integrated washers, front and rear fog lamps, and a power folding black soft top. The original blue-tinted glass remains intact. The included Carfax report shows minor damage reported in 2017 as a result of a front bumper repaint after a shopping cart made contact.
Factory staggered 17″ multi-piece AMG wheels measuring 17 x 7.5” up front and 17 x 8.5” in the rear are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 tires measuring 225/45 and 245/40 respectively. The faces of the wheels show well with some scuffs shown on the lips. OEM center caps showing chrome stars are installed.
The cabin is upholstered in Designo Anthracite Leather (211) across all four seats, headrests, steering wheel, dashboard, center console, and door cards. Black birdseye maple veneers accent the center console and door panels with some light fading noted. Amenities include automatic climate control, power-adjustable and heated front seats with position memory and multi-contour function, cruise control, and factory COMAND. The seller notes the head unit will need to be replaced and the driver’s seat shows some bolster wear and general creasing.
An AMG leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames grey-faced AMG gauges including a 160-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer along with gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 75k miles and shows complete pixels on the main screen and clock.
The 5.4-liter M113 V8 produced 342 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Documented service records can be seen in the attached Carfax report with the most recent service at 74k miles consisting of an oil change and A/C recharge.
The Carfax report lists no accidents and one minor damage report in 2017 along with 26 service history records. The full amount of the proceeds from the sale of this CLK55 AMG Cabriolet will be donated to Chartiy by the Patina Collective in Boca Raton, Florida.
With styling cues from the W210 lineup, the CLK55 affords those looking for young classic AMG access the luxury of doing so with iconic AMG flare and arguably the best power plant to come out of Affalterbach since the 6.0 M117. The 208 AMG's are following the footsteps of the W210 and W202 line up with rising values thanks to a growing desirability. While big screens, small displacement, and overwhelmingly complicated tech suffocates the modern day automobile, the early 2000's still offer gems like this CLK55 which provide enthusiasts with classic design, mechanical reliability, and a more analog/connected driving experience with little compromise. This one should be paid special attention not only for the opportunity to buy from one of the most impressive collections of the modern era but the direct ability to influence a fundraiser doing good in the world.
While most are already familiar with the Patina Collective, those that aren't will want to take note. This is the largest collection of Mercedes-Benz vehicles to feature all models and various vintage tuners such as AMG, Brabus, RENNtech, Zender, Carat, ABC, Lorinser, Gemballa, Koenig, and more. This is the first time Patina Collective has offered a vehicle for sale and it's for a very good cause. The Cruiser Palooza raises funds to help support Cruise Bogle who was paralyzed while skimboarding in Ocean Ridge in 2008. A Spinal Cord Injury is devastating for the patient and their family, both emotionally and financially, and is relatively common among the automotive enthusiast family. Cruise has had the support of his community over the years and his Cruiseybabbby Initiative Foundation will help others with injuries who need support as well. The MB Market is proud to partner with the Patina Collective and Cruiser Palooza to offer this low-mile CLK55 AMG for auction to benefit the charity. For those who would like to attend in person, the event will be held in Delray Beach, Florida, Saturday, April 29th, 5-10pm at Old School Square!

@JayH your question is incomplete and leads to a misunderstand of condition of the car. It refers to the head unit of the COMAND system (radio of the sound system) that needs to be replaced by the auction winner. Actual quote from the listing is "The seller notes the head unit will need to be replaced" and it is in the context of the sound system. The engine and transmission are both strong.
what do you mean "head needs replaced" thank you
Saw yesterday's patina video about the charity, very heartwarming ❤️.

@jim9 Spare tire seems to be original and unused. Please refer to the listing description and thorough photo album regarding the sound system and detailed condition. MBM allows potential bidders to DM sellers as well
Is the spare tire from 2002? Is there a working cd changer?

@Static50 Traditionally a purchase price that is "above market" can be considered a 501 C3 donation however please consult with your tax professional.
So please advise. Will purchase of this car be treated as any type of donation to a 501 c3 by our illustrious IRS? Explaining could help the bidding. Thanks much
