The body is finished in Diamond Silver Metallic (762) and features AMG body styling with mesh air intakes in the front air dam along with a European-spec quad-exit exhaust. The folding soft top is fully power operated and features a heated flush-mounted glass rear window. Exterior equipment includes front fog lamps, LED turn signals, rain-sensing wipers, heated power-adjustable door mirrors and remote central locking. The seller reports that the front bumper and hood appear to have been repainted under prior ownership. No signs of rust or damage are present on the body with no accidents appearing on the Carfax report.
The staggered 18” AMG double five-spoke alloy wheels were recently fitted with a fresh set of Continental ControlContact Sport tires which measure 225/40 front and 255/35 rear and show 2022 date codes. Minor damage can be seen on the spokes of the front wheels with no major signs of curb rash or corrosion. The optional Run-Flat Tire Package included the addition of a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The seller reports that new thrust arm bushings and new strut rods were recently installed.
The front bucket seats are trimmed in Charcoal Nappa Leather (251) with matching black AMG floor mats and AMG-design aluminum trim which lines the center console, dash and door panels. Both front seats are heated and 10-way power adjustable with additional multicontour adjustment for the driver side. Interior appointments include a power tilt/telescope steering column, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a mesh wind deflector and a Harman/Kardon Logic7 surround sound system. An aftermarket Sony head unit with Apple CarPlay has been fitted with a USB input mounted in the center console. Signs of wear are visible on the center console leather.
The leather-wrapped AMG performance steering wheel fronts a central 200-mph speedometer with a configurable display along with a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock and digital gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 80k miles from new with 6k miles added by the current owner in the past two years.
This AMG Cabriolet is powered by a hand-built 5.4-liter M113 V8 which is rated for 362 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG-enhanced 722.6 five-speed automatic transmission. A service “A” was recently performed with an engine oil and oil filter change as well as a fluid level and brake component check. Additional maintenance items include new valve cover gaskets, new PCV hoses and new fuel tank seals.
The Carfax report shows linear mileage updates with no accidents or damage reports present. This CLK55 AMG Cabriolet is now offered for sale by the current owner in Jacksonville, North Carolina with a clean Carfax report and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The second generation CLK55 AMG continues to surprise and delight drivers, both new and tenured, to the AMG brand. These cars combined modern era styling with the bulletproof naturally-aspirated M113 V8, eight years after the engine had already proven its worth in the previous generations of hot rods from Affalterbach. While cars like the W210 E55 AMG and W202 C43 AMG continue to rise in value, the 209 chassis CLK55 AMG has remained an affordable option for those looking to harness old-school mechanical power while enjoying modern styling and handling. However, as these cars continue to age that too will surely change. There aren’t many comparable options in this price range when searching for top down fun behind a large displacement V8. Additionally, this CLK features a much needed Euro AMG quad-exhaust which they should've all had from the factory and displays in a stunning and rare color. This AMG cabriolet should make a great driver for anyone wanting a proper AMG without breaking the bank.

@MercedesDad First convertible I have sold so I should have thought of that! Yes, tops works great as far as going up and down. As you can see by the limited miles I have put on it, I don't drive it much but when I do, the top is down. The top does not leak at all.

@wnhorrell Thank you, usually there are videos of the top's operation on convertibles. Can you confirm the top works as it should with no leaks at this time?

@MercedesDad The previous owner did provide some maintenance records but I don't recall anything pertaining to the roof hydraulics. Any records I have will definitely be passed along to the winner bidder.
@wnhorrell How about prior to your ownership? Anything on the records that may show those have been refreshed? Is it fair to assume the records from the prior auction are also included? Thank you.
@Randino1 The Sony model is the XAV-AX7000 The clock still works, to change time you have to use the factory Command head unit.

@mdrei The CLK55 sits in my garage and there is no evidence of a fluid leak on the floor.
@MercedesDad Thanks for your interest in the CLK55; not during my ownership.
Any receipts pointing to later refreshment of roof hydraulics? Thank you.
WN, Thanks for your reply on the rust. Any oil leaks or transmission fluid leaks? I know obvious question. As I said, earlier, car looks great.
@mercedesmike It came from CKS Performance Here’s the link https://www.cksperformance.com/products/cks-clk-cabrio-quad-tailpipe-exhaust-all-mod-incl-clk63-mercedes-clk-w209?class=clk&make=mercedes&model=w209&type=exhausts-headers
@mdrei Hello, thank you for your interest in my CLK55; I do not have any pictures of the underneath. I plan to take it to a local shop and get it on a lift for some pics. I will tell you that it’s beautiful under there. Zero rust.
